Also, twisted faith says it increases MF/MB 5% for each shadow DoT on the target. This would include devouring plague, and make them buffed 15% for the duration, correct?
looks like a solid spec to me. too bad holy priests cant get the end talent in holy and divine spirit. Q.Q

I personally don't believe that mana will ever really be too much of an issue for spriests with imp spirit tap + meditation + pain and suffering (not having to cast our most mana intensive spell anymore ftw) + shadowfiend will provide more than enough mana to remain constantly casting pretty much indefinitely. Plus, if the encounter calls for you to run around at particular times, then you can pop dispersion (after a mindblast/swd combo to hopefully proc imp spirit tap) and regen a hefty portion of your mana pool whilst having your dots tick in the background.

Basically, I think http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=bVMhzhZZGcfVowzcVqizAo will better in basically every aspect. Let a disc priests pick up imp divine spirit for the raid.

    Cheers!
its not that they will have issues, it just means that shadow priests will bring much more raid utility.

I got improved VE since shadow priests have -threat on shadowform now

Give or take a few points out of mindblast depending on haste

In my raid, we usually have a priest not get COH and pick up imp spirit instead

Why would you need Silent Resolve? This isn't pvp and you're not going to be bubbling yourself enough to gain aggro from it.

Here's my spec that I will be going:

Don't think VE will be as useful in expac, since all the AoE heals are becoming raid wide.

(Dunno if I'll be 5/5 MB, if i've got the haste for it then of course)

I think 9% stun, fear and silence resist is a LOT better than -aggro on discipline spells.

Why hurt my dps when another priest can buff the raid???

Has nothing to do with being lazy.

How does silence/fear/stun resist really help your dps when the raid dps stops there anyways.
Also it wouldn't hurt to pay abit for the reagents and lower the raid downtime after wipes, but ofcourse that's just my opinion. 6% vs. 23 stamina on 5/10-man instances and a tad quicked buffing when the other priest doesn't have to buff the whole raid and spend his mana on that.
I find it rather disturbing when people who play shadow priests say they're a dps class, they're a support/utility class, sole purpose of having them in the raids is because of the healers/dps getting more mana regeneration.

lol 6% stun fear and silence resist over imp fort... man that spec makes me laugh. How much dps value would 6% stun fear and silence resist add, even in a fight where those events happen frequently? (and I can't think of many that currently exist, maybe Azgalor in MH).

You take imp Fort... I guarantee that the extra health will have more of a dps effect by keeping you and your raid alive (yes, funnily enough you dps more when not dead) than 2/5 Unbreakable Will.

Having said that, were there 5 spare points to throw into disc, that would be something that isn't awful but considering the other options you'd have to be pretty special to waste points into that talent.
