    shield specialization

Shield Specialization now Increases the amount of damage absorbed by your shield by 10/20/30%. (Old - Increases your block value by 10/20/30%.) Is this a typo i thought it was block value like two weeks ago now it just reverted back to the old stuff .what was wrong with extra block value its more absorbed dmg an threat increase because of our shield slam

    Re: shield specialization

I think that`s just the reason they changed it. 100% armor penetrating shieldslam could scale bit too well in wotlk end game threatwise.

    Re: shield specialization

The warrior talent uses the Absorb word also and it increases our blockvalue, nothing to worry about.

This appears in the paladin shield specialization not the warriors. Pallies don't use shield slam.

Hmm whats that level 75 spell?

    Shield of Righteousness
Slam the target with your shield, causing Holy damage equal to 200% of your block value. This spell causes a high amount of threat.

Maybe they just want to keep us a little bit different. Just like our 1 Hander specialisation is different to their one

    Re: shield specialization

The Warrior one was changed to reflect it's effect on Shield Slam, the Paladin one is changed because an extra 30% scaling on SoR would probably be unfair (read: extremely totally OP)
