    Holy build questions.

I was wondering, betweeen those 2 specs (Not final though, I'm not realy experienced in spec for holy, change some talents if you want, I'd appreciate tips) for holy, primary pve healing, and I'm gonna do pvp as well. Notice those spec are for level 80.

Edit: http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=sxA...MxoZZgfMxR00hh - 43/0/28 - Leaving 6% haste from judgements and +20yd range judgements to get Judgement of the Wise for a raid utility mainly for PvE, it's not realy good for PvP though.

Sheath of Light, or Beacon of Light?

    Thanks for advice.

I'd go with the first one, if your planning on doing some PvP.

Mainly for the additional +8% crit.

I'd move the Vindication points down into Improved Judgement.

Though I do question why, if your planning on doing PvP, do you not have Imp. Con. Aura? If not, then what Aura are you planning on utilizing?

    Totally forgot that

I was too focused on spec'ing into pve healing. Will switch some talents and edit my post soon.

My advice: create 2 separate specs, one for pve and one for pvp. Not a mix. A mix of both will just result in worse result in both.

    Re: Holy build questions.

It looks like Healadins will have to have 2 seperate specs for pve and pvp imo. I cant imagine pvp without Stoicism, And I cant imagine pve without 5% spell crit from ret.

Is anyone else tempted to go for 40/0/31 for casual 5-10 mans? Having a proper cc would be some excellent utility and I really dont think you'll be missing anything that vital from holy...Who really liked divine illumination anyway, when we're getting divine plea?

For me, core pvp talents are stuff like Blessed Hands, and Unyielding Faith. Both of which are pretty useless in pve.

I really hope Sheath of Light gets shuffled up a tier...It's just too tasty.

Try both and see which one you prefer. why stick with one build?

    Re: Holy build questions.

I see myself running with something like this http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?pala...00000000000000 at 80.

The beacon vs sheath debate has been going on for while and although I think sheath looks good on paper I feel its too situational, our direct heals are still our strongest and if your healing the MT you will be getting a nice bonus hot from your critical heals but if one crit overwrites the last it could be counter-productive. 10k holy light crit overwritten by 2.5k flash of light crit?

In comparison beacon of light can increase a paladins healing by 100% and I cant think of any scenario where it would not be useful. In a 5 man put it on the tank then you can heal anyone during splash dmg and not have to worry about the tank suddenly dropping or in 10 / 25 mans you could simultaneously heal the MT and OT to full effect without having to switch targets or again do some raid healing during splash dmg and know your still putting solid heals on the MT.
