Warlock - Tester Question: Fel Synergy

I haven't read this anywhere and was wondering from a Warlock WotLK tester if Fel Synergy works with Hellfire? If Im dealing damage to myself and those around me with Hellfire will my pet be healing from that damage via Fel Synergy? Thanks in advance for the info

I am not in the beta, but the talent seems to work just like the T5 set bonus. The set bonus does heal your pet from AoE damage; for instance in Hyjal my pet can take 50% or more of his health in damage and a single Seed of Corruption into the group around the pally tank will heal him to full. I am not certain if there is threat associated with this healing however.
