Need someone to check this Math. 2/5 RV Question.

If i had a melee attack of say 2500, critting for normally 5000. applying the 10% from a 2/5 talent point invest mention would give me how much damage?

5250, or 5500?

that's what i was thinking, but some number crunchers over on another site were all saying 5250, So i thought, maybe i was crunching the numbers wrong.

No, the other site was in fact correct. The talent Righteous Vengeance states that it increases the "critical strike damage bonus of Judgement and Divine Storm by X%". This means that if a normal (untalented) crit with a judgement does 200% (2x) normal damage, putting 2 points into RV would increase this multiplier by 10%, or make a crit do 210% (2.1x) normal damage. Thus, using these numbers, a judgement that crit for 1000 would crit for 2000 untalented, or 2100 with 2 points in RV. Or, using your numbers, the judgement would crit for 5250 with 2 points in RV. Hope this clarifies.
