Level 80 Arena Warlock Ritual

Well here goes. Before the start of every 5v5 arena match this is the current preperations warlocks will have to do -

1) Kill 50 mobs and make sure you have 50 soul shards
2) Tell all your team mates to go to Dalaran to queue for arena (so that you have mobs to kill when you run out of shards)
3) Enter arena
4) Place Soulwell down, and wait 20 seconds before people click it properly
5) Hit F1, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
6) Hit F2, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
7) Hit F3, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
8 ) Hit F4, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
9) Hit F5, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
10) Target each pet in turn, Hit Cast Invisibility, Hit Cast Underwater breathing
11) Creat Spellstone
12) Apply Spellstone to weapon
13) Sumon Felhunter
14) Cast Demon / Fel armour
15) Cast Soul link
16) Match starts (youve only just made match start in time with all the buffing)
17) Walk in
18) Get zerged
19) Pet gets instagibbed
20) You die
21) Watching face flat on the floor while you see your dots get dispelled


Anyone else think this is how level 80 arena is going to be for 5v5 warlocks?

Too much farm
Too much preparation
Too little alive time

edit - didnt even include the imp magic shield buffs on everyone either, which is another 5 steps of buffing.

Why is it that to play maximum efficiency in arena, warlocks have sooo much more to do than any1 else, yet get owned faster than any other class

underwater breathing = magic buff = helps protect all your and your teammates other buffs from being dispelled.

Where the heck did you learn to play arena? ???

As to tha rest - yes. You needs prayer of versions of your buffs.

Spellstone got changed latest ptr patch.

Now grants 1% dot dmg increase and 54 haste when applied to your weapon

im not sure you would need the underwater breathing...

FYi blizzard plans on really mixing up new arena maps with platforms and hazards... id expect to see some water hazards and a sand trap!

yes there is water in one map the dalaran sewer map

haha best friend has been a ret pally since horde could be and he does nothing but gloat all day (no joke he has a pathetic life) about how the tables have turned :P

Theyve turned from warlocks getting raped by warriors/hunters/rogues

to warlocks getting raped by warriors/hunters/rogues/retridins/death knights/mages

Seems like the tables did a 360, pickup up some more melee's to own warlocks along the way

create spellstone beforehand, not a conjured item, all u need to do now is apply, thats at least 1 less thing to do :P

i would replace : "get insta gib" by :

- set up a TP point
- TP and survive 10 more seconds
- get insta gib

make bliz have a longer time before arenas start for people to sit around while warlocks buff themselves. or less buffs if thats what your suggesting

Well that sucks. Or not. The last 8 seconds were always fun,

Bubble, PoM, shadowform, bubble, mount......

Now I can just sit around being bored! Ah well. Thanks for the info about spellstone, I missed the change <3

As a PvE lock , at lvl 70 I have 13k+ hp , t6/SwP gear , but as it is now even a gladiator equiped rogue can beat the crap out of me(I don't even get to touch him because of the stuns/blind) , so...in conclusion: locks have a big msg over their head " Free honor everybody , get your free honor today" .

I'm glad we have so many buffs, it's just a luxury problem imo. I'd prefer AoE Curses over AoE buffs tbh =9
