Honor points will NOT be reseted

what ? what the fuck are they on about and why should farming our arse off at 70 mean free loot at 80 because someone might get surprised. wotlk wil have more honour from kills and higher costing stuff plus probably also a higher cap but thats still a bit of a cop out

i hope they go back again and do reset it. that will ruin the expansion if they dont. it was bad enough there were so many welfare epics for 70. there are already a crap ton of people grinding for honor. marks are easier to earn then the total amount, but people will have 6 digit honor numbers under their belt just waiting to be spent at 80. if that happens im not gonna even bother playing this game anymore.

Why do people complain about this? It's the same as them resetting our gold. It's basically a form a currency, just geared towards pvp.

Well I think the biggest argument that those who wanted to keep honor had, that Blizz absolutely had no answer to, is the relationship between honor and gold.

Blizz wanted to reset honor and marks so as to "not give any advantage" to those who were farming honor prior to the release.

When countered with the question as to why gold isn't reset then, b/c people who have stockpiled gold obviously have an advantage, I don't think Blizz could come up with a good answer.

I think this is basically the reason to them changing their minds. They would be hypocrits or have to come up with an answer to gold.

And eveyone knows the last thing Blizz wants to do is take away the G's that people have been working for.

i knew this was going to happen. next thing wow forums are flooded with posts from people who went on a shopping spree and wasted all their honor. ofcourse now they want that honor back and there is a slight possibility that blizz will introduce some new and easy way to get honor fast. its fun to see how they bend over everytime we "CUSTOMERS" demand something stupid, money talks.

You will have to do Arenas to get the required PR to buy the items anyway. Don't you also need Arena Points to buy Honor items now, aslo? And with all Arena points and teams being reset... and the arena organizers disabled. YOU WILL NOT GET FREE LOOT THE DAY YOU HIT 80. If new 80's wanted 75,000 honor and all tokens. I bet they will have time to do it before the arenas are re-opened for play.

Sitting there, alt tabbing/autoattacking/pushing one button to kill a mob and ah'ing/vendoring.

Both are insanely easy to do and take no skill whatsoever...all farming.

Don't get me wrong, I honestly dont see it being "right" to reset it, or not to reset it. If people put in the time to get the honor before, and it resets, odds are those people are going to be ahead of others in regaining that honor. In addition if it doesnt, people will still need personal ratings and arena points...which will take time. This isnt something that is going to change the way the game turns out.

i duno, for pvp afk, u can just use ur space bar, id rather do that instead of have to move+auto-attack/cast many spells+loot(5 buttons + mouse). gives me more time to eat food and watch TV :O

and yes, u gota remember that almost everything will require both arena points and honor to get at 80
