    Profession Specialisms

    Hey,

Just wondering, will they be introducing specialist recipes for those of us who have already specialised in a profession or will all new WotLK recipes be available to everyone?

I'm a Dragonscale LW and not noticed any specific DS recipes. Likewise, I've also not noticed any specific armoursmith or weaponsmith BS recipes or any specialised tailoring recipes.

So, does that mean they've dropped that?

If you go into the dalaran LW shop, up the stairs youll see the vendors for DragonScale, Elemental, and Tribal Leatherworking. My thought is thier presence means its just NYI(not yet implemented) but is coming.

I'm more concerned about Potion masters tbh, I've yet to see any benifit to being a pot master with the "1 pot per fight" rule

Armorsmith and weaponsmith will get new stuff, that's all I know. They will get that socket to sword(weaponsmith) or metasocket on chest(armorsmith) :P I think it was like that

Yep and with Mixology, Elixir specialization isn't too exciting either. I likely will be going Transmute.

I still believe that enchanting should have branches to it, like everything else seems to.

Alchemists have potion, elixir, or transmute masteries. Blacksmiths have Weaponsmith or Armorsmith. Leatherworkers have Tribal, Dragonscale, or Elemental. Tailoring has separate sets. Jewelcrafting's in the same boat as enchanting, and they could use something.

This is what I thought of as an idea. Enchanting and Disenchanting specializations.

Enchanting specialization: Has a chance to use less mats than is required for an enchant or has a chance to increase the enchant's effectiveness. Example: instead of 150 health to chest you could get 200.

Disenchanting specialization: Has a chance to gain you additional enchanting mats, or has a chance to give you mats one rank above your disenchanted item. Example: a chance to get Large Prismatic Shards from level 68+ green items, or 6 Arcane Dust from a green instead of, say, 3.

Jewelcrafting should get Jewelry and Gem specializations, which would both involve exclusive patterns and other perks.

Or another perk for JC is that they can unsocket their gems. Just an idea but would help defray the cost of JC.......those blue patterns are horribly expensive.

Using less mats will be okay, but a chance on increasing the effectiveness will be a bad thing ... you will re-enchant your items until you get the best enchant

yea cant boost the enchant, what can be done is to make a proc that uses up 75% of the mats, thus saving u 25%.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

Stupid idea. If ever it should specialise in: weapon enchanting, armor enchanting and Magic item crafting (with addition of crafting staves and not only wands).

Though I still prefer no spec to it.

And about staves - No proffesion crafts them, so seriously, enchanting could do it... unless they plan to make woodworks;] (= staves, bows, furniture)

The socket to a 1-handed weapon doesn't require weaponsmith training at the moment its available to any blacksmith ATM... I have a feeling though that since weaponsmithing usually introduces a lot of 2-handed weapons that they will make it so weaponsmiths can add a socket or 2 to those.
