Divine storm - bonus from spell power

so i was doing some testing with divine storm and it's freeking amazing. It gets a double stack bonus from vengence cuz the 9% goes to weapon dmg that is calculated before anything, and then the 9% to holy dmg which is what divein storm turn into, so it's like a 18.81% dmg buff from vengence along. Then because it's holy dmg wouldn;t it gain a bonus from spell dmg wich would be really amazing. Me and my friend were trying oto figure it out and with my gear on ptr with all the calculations i should have only been critting for 3.5k with wings and full vengence up, but i was critting for over 4k so i was wondering if maybe spell power got added to the dmg and then buffed the 18.81% and 20% before the crit.

to be short i was wondering if anyone has found that divine storm does get a bonus from spell power/dmg

Divine Storm has no spell power coefficient, so it doesn't gain anything from Spell Power. Not every ability that does magical damage has a coefficient, also I haven't seen anything that seems to indicate that DS is "double dipping" with Vengeance.

Well, the death knight's magical skills have an attack power coeficient. It could be this way for divine storm too.

14 attack power = 1dps = 3.6 damage per Divine Storm.

Yeah, but the point I was making still stands. Get into things like normalized weapon speed and internal cooldowns on SoC and the people you were trying to educate just get more confused. :P

Have you taken into consideration that Art of War (2/2) increases Divine Storm crit damage by 20%?
