Hmm, well, all I can come up with is this:

A friend of mine suggested a hybrid feral/resto spec that seems like it might be a good idea:

or something along those lines. His idea was that with Heart of the Wild and Survival of the Fittest you get 26% more intellect, a small boost in spell power from Nurturing Instinct, plus you get the talents that were removed from resto's availability (Brutal Impact, Feral Charge) and you also get Imp. LotP, which can be nice if you're getting beat on by someone and just happen to crit them (yeah, not likely, but 8% max mana is nothing to laugh at). Please keep in mind that this was someone else's idea, so take it with a grain of salt. Also, the spec was entirely my making. He just suggested the Imp LotP/Swiftmend/NP build.

feral resto is terrible... you wont get any bonus from nurturing instinct cuz you dont have agi on your resto gear...unless you wear feral gear in which case your heals will suck

with spell power in wotlk theres no reason not to spec caster/healer if you really want a dual role in pvp

also for 5v5 or BGs wild growth is tha shiznit!

Well, you'd get about 80-90 spell power from Nurturing Instinct, since you'd have 120ish agility from leveling stats, so it wouldn't be a total waste, not to mention you can HoT yourself up and go cat since you have the 30% movement speed bonus in cat form. I'm not saying you're wrong, just looking at it from both sides.

Why 5/5 in Naturalist when you WONT use HT in arena, and if you do damage, t will mostly be from spells, think I would preffer 3/3 in Nature's Focus instead, and waste the 2 other points somewhere else

Well, maybe in conjunction with the HT glyph? -.5 seconds and then -50% cast time. You've got a 1 second HT there. Sure it also loses 50% efffectiveness, but it's there for when you can't HoT. (When you've got a DK on your ass)

A little faster than nourish for those really tight situations.

    Balance of Power (balance)
    Rank 2/2
    Tier 6

Increases your chance to hit with all spells and reduces the chance you'll be hit by spells by 4%.

    Natural Perfection (resto)
    Rank 3/3
    Tier 7

Your critical strike chance with all spells is increased by 3% and critical strikes against you give you the Natural Perfection effect reducing all damage taken by 4%. Stacks up to 3 times. Lasts 8 sec.

on any live server arena resto druid has told me "Natural Perfection" is a must have to stay alive... and looking at Balance side "Balance of Power" just helps out also.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Intensity (resto)
    Rank 3/3
    Tier 3

Allows 30% of your Mana regeneration to continue while casting and causes your Enrage ability to instantly generate 10 rage.

    Dreamstate (balance)
    Rank 3/3
    Tier 6

Regenerate mana equal to 10% of your Intellect every 5 sec, even while casting.

Intensity 30% is almost a must have for any cast may it be healer or dps. and 10% of INT converts to MP5 isnt something to joke about either. this way on the long fights you should out regen most classes.

i think this would be a good Utility Healer spec if you want Tree of Life over Moonkin. the balance side mainly focus on moonfire which is easier to cast and let it do some damage before you have to reapply, which lets you get some healing off.
