Pressence swapping

now that the praise is out of the way, would you be able to make it so we can spec into retaining some of that runic power apon switch? i would <3 to go to blood presence and hit ibf without having to runic power boost myself first, kthx

I really doubt they ever intended presences to be danced like stances. I know it has pvp value, but I doubt they're support it beyond removing the rune cost.

OT: be glad they changed rune cost to rp cost, it's one way or the other i guess but somehting like keeping 15rp when talented (in whatever talent you wanna put it) might be a start. then you just go horn of winter for extra rp.

20 RP kept would be nice. It's enough to switch to BP and use IBF, which does have it's uses in pve and pvp. Every other tank class can swap and use their cooldowns for free.

I do also think it would be rather nice if they added some sort of rp saver for swapping presences, don't exactly find it necessary though seeing as how removing the rune cost alone is beautiful enough.

can see it now, you auto running against the AB gate as you wait for it to start, pressence swapping as in real life you go unce unce unce unce,

i do that with the tuskarr outfit from the dalaran sewer, use the wow tcg portal item, spinn in place, you get purple lights in your hands and rave on!

Seeing as each presence allows all of the same abilities, I am leaning towards Blizz not wanting to encourage presence dancing. If IBF was only usuable in blood I could see the need for retaining some rp. I would also be playing my warrior if I wanted to stance dance.

Swapping presences could easily be abused if there was not such a penalty.

lol, trust me, if we where on par with warriors, i woundlt have a 6 second dead zone, let alone its not something game breaking its using the game mechanics to better an abilitiy thats being nerfed on the damage reduction and increased CD time

lol, we still have chains, and its free, if you play a frost dk, spec into chilbain and sacrifice 1 major glyph spot, like totally free /sigh

yeah was shooting for something like 20rp or something in that general region (more is better blizzard wink wink) but i just want to use my dk to the fullest and not have to hit 3 extra buttons to use ibf effectivly

Oh I know it's not gone. I just miss casting CoI every 5 seconds, no matter the spec. The rogues and warriors I've reduced to virtual tears...

yeah they can move butchery or something else down a tier to make room for a tier 1 of that

you can always use IBF first, then switch to blood pres?

i personally think this change was made so we can't switch to unholy for DC spam.

I don't really know Blizzards opinions on just how much DKs are supposed to be stance-dancing. Given that they made it somewhat easier to change stances, it seems like they are in support of it, however I can see how it should cost something. Considering Warriors get to keep some Rage, I don't see why we shouldn't get to keep a little RP. Seems fair.
