Enchanting – Perma BoE Broom Mount?

This idea has been around for a while- but with the introduction of Dalaran as a faction into the game (a magical society), now would be the perfect time to give Chanters a craftable BoE/BoP broom mount, much like the brooms that drop from Headless Horseman in SM.

I was thinking that there should be 3 version, a BoE ground version, BoE flying version and a BoP version that scales with riding scale. This way non-chanters could still enjoy it, but chanters could get the same thing for less.

Maybe have it require exalted reputation with Dalaran for the recipe and give it mats that match the Engineer flying mount/hog?

I have one of the brooms at the moment on my undead lock and it is very fitting and quite amusing. I for one would love the idea of a permeant 280% broom by whatever means necessary.

I don't want Broom Mount as Enchanter...they can make another kind of mount, which sound alot better

Better yet how about you just imagine you are flying, and that you save orphans of the world with your magical sparkling baton. That would be fun.

Don't really have to make a new animation, just take the "floating" animation for priest, which they already have for every race, and add in a part of the swimming animation for taking off. I just thought it made sense with the profession and would be funny as hell to see a bunch of people flying around with a sparkly dust trail behind them,... especially Tauren.

Seems pretty fitting for enchanters as well, and maybe make the floating idea a BoP one? So you get something everyone can enjoy and something enchanter specific like engi's.

Oh and it needs a cast time ofcourse

How about something a bit more creative, like a cloud of magic dust to fly around on. Not a huge big cloud, just a small one with lots of glitter and glow, maybe leaving a colory trail behind when it flies around. Would be awesome to fly around on these, standing upright in a surfing stance...

But not with that Broom Mount
Enchanters seems to be last and only proffesion that didnt recive anything fresh from WotLK EXCEPT making our enchants sellable on AH, which is barely ever seen couse those scrolls cost a bit (Everyone wants things cheaper) .
There should be some kind of feature that could fit Enchanting soloely, so that we would be more "sexier" then we are now.

BS - Socket/ Shields are back
LW - OP enchants, many new drums
Tailoring - Mount, embroids
JC - daily quests + new trinkets/gems (This proffesion is TBC Old, so I think there should be no complains)
Alchemy - Discover system , new pots , increased duration of pots/flasks,
Engineering - New great mount (Chopper ) and "Gadgets" Like MOLL-E , Gnomish Army Knife, gadgets attached to gear
Inscryption - it's WotLK new proffesion, so it kinda makes up for it

First Aid / Cooking / Fishing - always obtainable, only First Aid stayied same.
Mining - Stamina
Skining - Crit Rate
Herbalism - Heal

Enchanting - DE, New recipes, wands.....yay

Actually, they did give enchanters epic-quality wands instead of the usual green garbage we get at low levels and that's all we ever see. So wands are, in a sense, being brought back and improved upon.

Brooms should stick to Halloween. It's festive and seasonal, we don't need them every single day. Besides, it'd just look dumb during Christmas turning your broom into a reindeer.

Here's my thing. Out of all the professions in the game, only two of them (excluding inscription, which is brand new) have some sublet. Jewelcrafting and Enchanting. Of those two, enchanting is older, so I think it's due time for some branching. You can't tell me after aaaaaaaaaall this time, enchanters haven't found a way to specialize. Here was an idea I came up with awhile back.

Disenchanting mastery - Items you disenchant have X% chance to give one level higher quality enchanting items and X% to give additional enchanting items. Example: Greens more likely to give shards (small or large would still depend on item level) and blues have chance to give 2 shards instead of one. Both procs can trigger at once.

Enchanting mastery - Enchants have a chance to use fewer mats than are required in the recipe. Also, while enchanting items, you have a chance to learn enchants that only enchanting specialists can learn (much like Alchemy's discovery system). This could include new gems, much like the spheres. (however, none that you learn would be the same as a jewelcrafting gem pattern...this will not cause competition between the two)

Also, as enchanters, who are able to turn magical items into things that bind magical enhancements to other items, they should get some kind of magic buff. Either resistance bonus (say, +20 to all) or a small bonus to spell power (your enchanting level/10, so 45 at max). Resistance if you have no spell power, naturally.
