i wanna be a healer

Hey guys, i decided that because of this dual talent spec i will dps pve and heal pvp, but i dont have a clue about healing, from my years of playing ive never made a healer or healed anything o.o

any pointers about pvp healing for wotlk i can work on during my studies? disc/holy? full disc? full holy?

please talk about lvl 80 specs only since the dual spec isnt out yet, theres probly alot of talk about healing here but i dunno where to begin

any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Its pretty easy.

Take talents which increase healing done and survivability and next to that keep an oke regen pool as well.

i studied the tree abit, but theres so much i want with not enough talents, is penance better than spirit of redemption? should i focus on ragen while casting or spirit? is my PWS gonna play big parts in arena/bg?

Thats a great place to start for arena strats.

As for BG healing the biggest jump in my healing numbers is when i found out you could bind "target nearest friendly unit" which i bound to `

Also you can target an enemy player and then assist them (default key 'f') to find out who they are attacking.

The biggest thing you can do is to get an addon like bartender and bind almost all of your spells to easy access keys so you don't have to click anymore.

Yes you shield is an awesome tool in PVP, espacially if you are going discipline.

For stacking i would defo go for Spirit because spirit will give you mp5 anyway and this way boosts your spells as well through some talents.


EDIT: and stamina too of course.

Grath, truth...nothing heals like a holy priest. Heal crits, twice the heals of any class or spec....
Im a priest, have tried all specs.
truth:
Shadow for leveling. (killer)
Disc for pvp. (almost impossible to kill)
Holy for instances and healing. (top healer in the game)

Have fun always though, whatever spec you choose ;D

well it seems like your a bit conflicted.. pve, pvp, or world pve?
