Can someone help me to understand the glyphs system?(I check only hunters)

Do i need to farm millions of mat (=money) for glyphs before i start real pve/pvp?

Or just one by one in normal tempo?

Will you need glyphs? No, in the same way that you don't need enchants, but they help.

Will you need millions of mats? Not really. Let's look at the Glyph of Aimed shot: http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56994.
It costs two Jadefire Ink and one Common Parchment you can buy from a vendor.
Jadefire Ink costs two Emerald Pigments which are milled from common herbs like Khadgar's Whisker and Goldthorn.

So for your Glyph of Aimed Shot you should only have to farm 2 Khadgar's Whisker. And once you've attached the glyph it stays with you until you replace it.
