Just thinking, would you like to see the Gold/Time token sold in game via shop, as a game card sold in stores? Also they could one of several battle pets, and maybe a RNG chance to proc up a mount too. Perhaps 1 version of Game Stop, 1 for Best Buy, 1 for Amazon, etc.
Also they could do the same for the game sub time card.
Thoughts?

It seems to me that might cause the game time to cost more gold. Not sure I want that to happen.

IIRC, they already sell battle.net balance cards in $20 increments.
