I have a simple question. Does Genesis talent inscrease the dot effect of Lacerate and Rip too?

It doesnt matter much imo. Even as a pure catdps spec i think there arent any free points that would be worth spending in genesis.

How the talent reads and what the talent does are two different things. Alski was stating a fact: Genesis does not increase bleeding damage, with or without Phil Collins. The talent does not explicitly state "spell damage," but that's still all it affects.

And as Sholva correctly stated, even if it did affect bleeds, you wouldn't want to take it. You'd be getting about a 0.2% dps increase per talent point.
