Quartz help.

Hey,

So, I like Quartz so far, I just have a slight problem...
I want to remove the 'red bar' next to my frame of my character.
Some people say it's great to have, and fun to watch etc etc,
But I want to remove it! >.<

It's that red bar at the end of it, with the 1.1 and ms text on it. if that makes it easier to understand.

So far..I've understood its under 'Latency' you can remove it,
but I can't remove it, I've tried everything.

under the ''bar color'' there is somthing called ''Alpha'' ..put that to 0 (zero)

You don't want to remove it though. It tells you approximately how much earlier you can start your next cast, and (for me at least) leads to an immediate 10% dps increase.

I understand, but
1) I'm healing, and I'm fine without it actually, other than that, I don't really get the whole point (While healing at least) Call me a nub eh D:
2) It stresses me and cathes my eye all the time for some reason, so it's really freaking annoying for me at least :/

That doesn't work Do I need to check ' Enable ' and 'Embled' or so perhaps?

The need for using the red bar was removed over a half year ago.

And it's only usefull if you got a shit connection. If you play with 100 ms average you can't do stopcasting faster than the spellqueue.

No, the need for a /stopcasting macro was removed. Starting a spell early is still very very good, unless you just mash the button nonstop in combat.

No, the need for a /stopcasting macro was removed. Starting a spell early is still very very good, unless you just mash the button nonstop in combat.

But the red bar is useless for that, because /stopcasting was removed.

Any serious caster know how to 'abuse' the spellqueue

Yes, it's easy to abuse the spellqueue, but the red bar keeps me from having to just hammering my 1 key for 3 hours at a time.
