Only think I can really say is that you should charge your meta gem at the moment you have to use 2 blue gems to use it if you charge to 21 agi and 3 increased crit damage then you can use just one nightmare tear to activate it just a little tip

As you were so nice to me i'll put some words for you aswell.

i suppose you are the 10% ap provider in raids? As blood was outdated in the end of ToC/begining of ICC gear. My dps drasticly increased by going unholy.
Else then that, you have done a great job sir.

I have charged back to blood us have alot of Dks in top guilds on my server with gearing we have found that blood with GoD is putting out much better numbers then unholy at the moment I can post some WOL if required

Dude... No... He should stick with his current one. It's the one that's favourable, and he has no problem filling the two blue gems.


You're JUST below the hit cap and you're starved on expertise.

Get rid of the Brewfest-trinket, HP isn't everything.
6/10 - You're stacking too much stam, take care of your hit and exp, they're very important when it comes to your TPS.
Feet-enchant; You don't need run-speed as a tank.

And I am sorry but I dont see stam as a useful stat for dps I thought he might like a little bit more crit and a little more str my bad

I understand that you were simply suggesting a meta-gem that is easier to fill, but the truth is that 21 crit rating and 3% increase crit damage is superior for every DPS-class. By using his hybrid-gems to fill his meta he also gains some survivability.

Ok you are telling me its better but why is it better I know you get a little but more crit from it which is made up by the 10 agi you get from the nightmare tear so there about the same only differents I can see his he will be getting 10 more str and losing 30stam which 300 health just doesnt seem worth it

Not entierly true. It all comes down to which socket-bonuses you have available. In my gear, Relentless Earthsiege Diamond is superior to Chaotic Skyflare Diamond.

I raid as Unholy. Im only using blood as a "fun spec" in heroics. Tried GoDisease, didn't like it though.

Itemization in icc is omg so all end game gear for tank lack expertise.

I start tank ICC as dw frost which was fun but after i get shadow's edge i return to blood spec (use it in totc) but still use my frost dw (got swords from Deathbringer Saurfang so i have nice tps with them) on bosses like Dreamwalker and LK - but blood is much better for single target tanking.

I change trinkets depending on encounter - got stamina and exp ones from totc and dodge/armor proc from gunship. Atm all my gear is from 25 man and it's armor bonus - which is nice but i still hope i'll change wpn for some nice polarm with agi or maybe sword from LK with expertise ;D

Dk are strange class - they give us godlike mode and then turn it off but as dk tank only part i hate is my start tps - to survive is not problem tbh but initial pull aggro is 2 lol

Very good overall - Shadow's Edge, DBW - both BiS items for DK (without ICC hc items). Also BS and JC are 2 profession that give highest dps increase - nice choice, Iam to lazy to get them on my DK.

Gear

- You could get 1 x +10 str + 10 hit rating yellow gem to get your hit cap up to 8%+. Put it somewhere where you will get +str socket bonus.
- No expertise cap? ;<
- Change your enchant on back - for blood agi > haste. 22 agi will be better then 23 haste.

Build

- No minor glyph? Get pestilence glyph, you must have gold for one minor glyph if you could afford Shadows Edge! Pestilence glyph is imba as minor glyph, especialy on AoE fights.
- Moving 1 talent point from Morbidity to BCB will result in slight dps increase.

Rating: 9/10

Your gear is itemized exceptionally well. You are just 1 under expertise cap, which a certain hand enchant would change. Other than that I say read up on some E&J, there's we can pretty much always go for socket bonuses on yellow gems. I believe the rule is 4+ Strength.

Draenei hit cap on purpose, expertise is hard to get. Normal gear qq stuff :/

Not bad... the PvP belt needs to go tho, PvP gear just can't compare with PvE gear, even lower iLvL stuff usually. And the meta choice is not optimal, CDS>RED unless you have 2 blue sockets that are worth >6str each, in which case CSD pulls ahead, but in most cases with ICC gear, you will not find 2 +6str blue sockets.

Since a few people were curious about WoL's, I'll post mine from this week...

Quite a laggy saurfang kill, numbers are much lower overall for the guild (tuesday, high pop server, prime raid time):

Festergut, a bit later so less lag, inner wings also seem to have less lag then the lower spire:

Rotface, also less lag then earlier bosses, I was lucky enough to not get mutating diseases on me, so I had nearly full boss dps time:

I haven't seen many blood DKs set very high records yet, but that may change later on as more 277 loot starts going around. The majority of raiders favor unholy tho, so blood will likely not make a huge comeback, even in later gear.
