Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

Chance of getting a dragon's eye I think is gonna keep guys using this. Also im noticing from screen shots thats its yellow all the way up to 450 which is really nice for people who haven't gotten the epic ring patterns and who dont wanna cut silly metas that sell for less cut than they do raw.

What server are you on O.o On Bonechewer Frozen orbs topped out at 40g, and are typically around 30g.

the blue gems are currently at 20/30 po for stamina 15/20 for spirit
    green one arn't really expensive
purple arn't that expensive ( understand more than 60 po)

so if u don't get red / yellow / orange u're loosing money
those are some skewed prices, orbs go for 20-40g on my realm and blue gems are 160-200 uncut

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

Yep, I can verify dragon's eyes from these, as well as a 20 hour CD. Well worth the orb investment.
    Forest Emerald x2
    Twilight Opal x1
    Dragon's Eye x1
From the one I did today

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

with frozen orb required, it's more likely to lose gold unless i get scarlet ruby or dragon's eye. will give it a try with orbs i got from heroics lol.. it's not worth buying orb from AH just to make it imo. it will be worthwhile if dragon's eye proc rate is high but then market will flood and price will drop.. lol

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

I've bought up the cheapest Orbs from the Ah over the last few weeks for exactly this. I'm hoping that its a worthy investment. so far I've got 20 Orbs and hope to see these translate into huge profit over the next day or two.

I suspect this wont last long as higher quality gems and dragons eyes will become more available on the AH thus the price for them will drop, in addition, people will start to hike up the price of Orbs to benefit from the new demand from JCs.

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

as said many times before there is a 20 hour cd on this. So have a huge stack of mats dosn't really help...

Not true. I think we've already established that I'm a prick. If I'm a prick with a prick I can't be a bitch, now, can I? But as they say, the hungry think about bread, so if you're seeing bitches everywere.... man... get laid... It'll help ya.

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

The profit of this depends on your server's orb price, which should have skyrocketed.

Since this was announced i bought up 38 orbs at 60 gold or lower.
The day of the patch frozen orbs were going for 120-150, a few up there at 180.

Great moneymaker for those who speculated.

    1x Sky Sapphire
    1x Scarlet Ruby
    1x Autumn's Glow
    1x Dragon's Eye

First transmute, well worth it if you can keep getting results like this.

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

bought up 20 Orbs before the patch at 50g a piece. Last night they rose to 75-100g on the AH. 1st attempt with the Icy Prism I got:

    1x Sky Sapphire
    1x Forest Emerald
    1x Twilight Opal

On first xmute I got 1xMonarch and 1xTwilight, I was a bit bummed and skipped yesterday. But with the chance for a Dragons eye, think i'll keep at it ;P.

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

    2x Scarlet Rubies (150-200g uncut)
    1x Monarch Topaz (50-100)
    1x Dragon's Eye (200-250g)

Gems around 1-5 g each (but I have loads of them)
Orbs around 30-40g each (got even more of those)

Even if I had bought the mats off the ah I'd have a nice profit

    Edit:

    Autumn's Glow
    Forest Emerald
    Monarch Topaz

    on second try

Re: Icy Prism (new JC-transmute recipe)

    Day one

    Sky Saphx2
    Forest Emerald
    Dragon's Eye

    Second day

    Scarlet Rubyx3

Orb aren't going much more than last week, I can turn a profit as long as I get two gems. If the orbs get to expensive, I'll sell the CD. Either way, I stand to profit.
