There is no such options for Firefox, so how to we find it?

I was wrong about Firefox. It's Chrome that does it. I think Boubouille mentioned something about a Firefox addon that accomplishes the same thing (I think it's Firebug -- could be wrong, though).

Hey,

On the frontpage there was an advert that caused the mouse to disappear regardless of where your mouse was on the screen. When you moved your mouse, the icon would appear, but as soon as you stopped moving the mouse it would disappear again. It didn't annoy me (this isn't a complaint) I just figured it wasn't meant to happen and you might like to know about it. I am unsure if I dragged my cursor over the advert to trigger the event (if I did it was accidental) or if it occurred because the advert was loaded.

The advert was TLV Media "Dunk the punk"
The advert was on the right side of the Recent Posts box.
I am running the latest version of Chrome
I am also running Windows 7 64 bit.
A refresh (new advert) removed the issue.

I was thinking of taking a screenshot but its hard to take a screenshot of an ad that makes your mouse disappear (seeing as your mouse disappears when you take a screenshot anyway).

When clicked it took me to: http://www.bearshare.com/downloadmusic/?appid=249
(Which makes no sense to the ad in question.) Note this was a left click, I did not right click and go properties, if I see it again I will right click and get the 2 URLs you require.

I clicked that 'Hit the Dictator' (Throw an axe at someone who looks like Gaddaffi), a new site opened, I had a look at it, closed it, but the site keeped popping up until I closed that MMO-C Window. Pretty stupid add -_-

Meh, it's probably nothing but my work tends to forbid some of the ads for "malicious sources"



It only blocks some of the ads not all of em, which I thought was a bit odd.

There's 2 Shaving commercials at the bottom of the page that keeps playing with sound enabled (same issue stated here http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...ng-commercials), it's really annoying because it gets on everytime I open a tab on MMO-C and took me 10 minutes to figure out where the hell the sound came from.

Now also happened with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I'm getting this as well, two Natalie Portman videos in every thread (and the front page) with about 0.2 seconds between them so it's like a constant echo. Playing without pressing play.

I'm getting some really strange ads lately. Pictures of "hot russian girls waiting for you" and arrows that simply say "Download" or "Play now!".

Makes it impossible to be on MMO sadly. They just refresh and start over after 30 sec also..

I'm constantly getting this ad for BMW with sound. Having 2+ tabs of MMO-C makes it intensively irritating (especially as there are two ads on each page).

When? Started today, I've read the forums for several hours and now I'm getting this ad (with sound!) each new page and also when the ad reloads, with me doing nothing.

I'm probably whining about the site architecture and not a particular ad, but it is a problem either way.

You guys' AJAX rotating ad banners can bring a mobile device to its knees. The site just isn't useable on a phone if I have JavaScript enabled, as it's constantly downloading new ads over a slow cell connection.

I realize it's probably a huge boost in revenue for MMOc, since this little trick generates a dozen ad loads per page instead of just one. But your ads aren't doing any good if us on-the-go people can't browse the site at all.

It would be really nice if you could check the User-Agent header for a mobile browser and NOT do the rotating banner in that case.
