Hey Chaud I’m getting weird mobile ads again that lock me until I close out my entire safari app and relaunch.


Its happened three times today. Here’s the URL I’m being directed to:

Jesus the site is filled with these bad ads today. I used to never have these problems but over the last year it’s been hell. I’ve been directed to this website five times now just trying to get to this post.

I've been getting this shitty one lately that forces me to close the page. It loads after a page has loaded completely, by sending me to this page.

Awesome because today the worst I’ve ever seen is dominating the site. Anytime I even goto the front page I’m redirected to http://goodluckday.site/prize/luckyus-ad/lp2.php? And this shit doesn’t let me close it. Apparently it’s happening to others too as seen above my post right here.

Getting a popup on mobile that you can't go back on when going to the blue tracker links.

Been getting them recently, too. What's sad is that mobile browsers offer no direct selection of a previous page for the current tab, like desktop browsers do by pressing down the back/forward button and/or immediate little arrow next to these buttons.
I've also haven't found any good adblocker for mobile, either :/

Chrome mobile doesn't do addons, FF has always allowed it from what I know

I was browsing mmo-champion on my smart phone when an "ad" from backupvpn hijacked the browser window. It tried saying my phone was compromised and forced a redirect to their shady as fuck website.

Same ad tried hijacking my phone again. Can something be done before I classify this site as unsafe to view on mobile?

Suggestion..... fix your damn ad policy for mobile. Your website has more mobile screen hijacking adds than I've ever seen on any other site. I'd love to be able to check the forums occasionally from more than just my pc/laptop, but it's seriously like a 80%+ chance to get screen jacked into some bullshit popup add that only closes via closing the browser tab or exiting the browser entirely, and your website is the only one pulling that bullshit outside of clickbait trash sites.

I don't think there's a checkbox labeled "I'm ok with serving my users malware and redirect ads".
It's lack of moderation on the ad network's side, and sadly none of the larger ones (as in, large enough to offer appropriate revenue for the traffic popular sites like MMOC or Wowhead generate) care enough about this.
Wowhead has similar issues because malicious ads are aimed at such high-traffic venues. At least for Wowhead I know that they went through several ad networks to at least reduce the number of bad ads.
