SoL/Smite in 3.1 for pvp?

I've played on the ptr and shadow is just not there yet tbh vs. some comps. All my gear is satin with hit and tbh I don't feel like farming up a mooncloth set when I have a resro shaman just about to hit 80. So im thinking of a SoL / mana burn build with my dual spec if shadow don't cut it vs some comps. Penance is still meh vs the new smite glyph in terms of taking someone down.

Im thinking of 2 builds either Focused Will/Blessed Resilience or Focused Will/Pain Supression. Im leaning towards PS since you use it stunned. Comp im using is Priest/Rogue/Shaman. Im not a 2's/5's person tbh.

A smitebuild might be worth, but Surge of Light defenatly not, unless you are healing your party members often. but resilience greatly diminishes this talent from a dps point of view.

Talents that function based off of crits will still work even when those crits are prevented/mitigated by resilience.

No. Talents that are based off of you being crit (Blessed Resilience, Blessed Recovery, Focussed Will) still work. Offensive crits (Wrecking Crew, Surge of Light) are mitigated by resilience because you haven't actually crit them yet.

Well i figure that Resilience will prevent some SoL but at the same time Prayer of Mending and Holy Nova can proc it. I've done FW/SoL spec in BC was able to hold my own in 5's in a Quad setup. Though that was back in the days of using R1 Holy nova though Prayer of Mending should make up for the proc times. I could go 51 Disc in 3.1 though I'd suggest it'd favor Haste over Crit. Anyways I'm looking at a couple builds.
