so ive noticed Penance will be able to be cast on yourself too now
but i always have Auto Self Cast active from my combat settings in Interface Options

it says:
When this enabled, friendly target spells that you cast while u have a non friendly target or no target will automaticlally be self cast

so what happens if u Penance while u have a enemy target? will it heal you, or will it damage him? >.<

Just like Holy Shocks instant self cast. If your targeting an enemy it hits them.

Ok maybe I missed something, but you can heal yourself with penance(maybe changedin 3.1)

In Russia, Penance will damage YOU.

This is the reason I use alt self casting instead of auto self cast. Before penance I used alt solely because of dispel, never could get away from the habit formed in classic when dispel was the king of abilities.
