DK T8 sockets

I was just browsing through some 3.1 stuff and then I noticed the insane amount of blue sockets in dk T8 armor (dps set that is). So I so went to wowhead to compare them to the warrior and paladin dps sets...

20% on 11% is 2.2% per disease net result of 6.6% with full diseases, you get alot more with t7 setbonus

If DK's are wearing T7 over T8 because of the set bonuses, they will simply nerf the T7 bonus or buff the T8 bonus. Watch.

This is true, but if you only hit SS, i am sure UH will need to hit BS, and for BS you will get a net of 6 you add in the SS 6.6 you get 12.6% net damage as UH.

The Net damage for frost using BS and Obl is 10%

Blood is 10% net damage with Obl and only 4% if you use DS

If you are talking about net, then it is a net 10% were 5% crit is change to FS and DC over all that is the same to me as Obl and SS, but the 4 set is huge, 10 rp in turn can turn in to 0 damage as 20% more pure dis is a net of up to 12.6% more damage. If you don't want to pick it up, as Blood, i could see that if you don't use Obl, but as UH, and think it is crap, then don't spec UH.

I always disliked the blue gem sockets on the death knight dps gear. That is the main reason why i went jewel crafting so i could put prismatic gems into those sockets (also something i recommend). If i had it my way though all those sockets would be red because the majority of us just stack strength anyways. I do think this is something blizz needs to look at again including the set bonuses.
