Shadowpriest questions..

Alright..

I played Shadowpriest in tbc, and i the start of wotlk - but decided to go pally tank instead..
But i've got the point where i need to do something else when not raiding - so i have some questions for shadowpriest that i would like if you could answer..

These have problerbly been asked like a million times, but seems like there are alot of different answers - so please help me in "general", and also answer them for 3.1 as we are in now

1. What is the hitcap? (Got 3/3 in Shadow focus)
2. What should i go for? (SP > Crit > Haste?)
3. What is the best dps rotation?
4. What Glyphs should i go for?
5. Is my talent build right? (PvE-wise)

Hi there,

to answer your questions

1. Spell Hit Caps:

* 290 hit is the cap with 6 points between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 315 hit before you can go to 5 points between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 341 hit before you can go to 4 points between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 368 hit before you can go to 3 points between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 394 hit before you can go to 2 points between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 420 hit before you can go to 1 point between Shadow Focus and Misery
* 446 hit before you can go to 0 points between Shadow Focus and Misery

2. Yes ! SP>Crit>Haste

3. VT>MF>MB>DP>SW:P (is what i use)

4. Glyph of Shadow/Glyph of Mind Flay/Glyph of Shadow Word: Pain

5. take the points out of shadow affinity and put 2 in ImprovedShadowform andmaybe 1 in Veiled shadows (in case you got mana issues)

Spell casting is priority based. In order of importance (aka dps), VT>MB>DP

Don't put SWP on the mob until you have 5 stacks of shadow weaving, MF when there's nothing else to do
