PvP Ret Pally and Darkmoon Card: Death

Has anyone looked into using this now that its been buffed?

85 crit
chance on dealing dmg to cause 1750-2250 shadow dmg
35% proc chance
45 second internal CD



I don't PvP alot, not really into the Arena stuff. But I love ganking and griefing players out by the Hodir dailys. I'm thinking that this would be much better for that than the Mirror of Truth that I still have around for PvE. My other trinket is the Greatness Card. Any thoughts?

Personally I would take the DMC for pvp because crit rating is kind of not that great in pvp compared to str.
If your looking for a random proc for burst, I suggest trying to get your hands on a Bandit's Insignia from 25man Saphhiron.
The 190 attack power is vastly superior to 85 crit rating, and you'll still get a spell proc that can add burst. The proc itself is
fairly random though, and probably won't come when you need it very often. It's still nice to have though.

Dropped my old guild that was running Naxx so I probably won;t be headed back there for a while.
So you think that running both Darkmoon Cards is a good idea too.

i have seen a decent amount of Human rets using this on arena junkies

IMHO this should only be used as a lack of better options. Always use DMC:G and either the WG trinket(if you're not human) or the honor one(if you are)

I've been using greatness and wrathstone macro'd to wings for a while now. Most of my game enders with a ret/resto shammy team are with some coordinated CC and some lucky "stars align" crits.
