Crusader Title Warning

I'm just trying to be nice and give people a heads up, so my apologies if I'm being Captain Obvious and people knew this already.

Got my Crusader title on my main today and it looks as there are no replacement dailies for the valiant ones, so they will no longer 'stack' if you do the prereqs to become a Crusader. I'm sure there will be more quests in the future patches that might require you to be a Crusader, but until then you might want your free extra gold.

also this was to be expected wasn't it... thats kinda why theres the crusader purses and the champions writs to choose from

uhh, what? I hope you at least mean 15 badges on your last faction. I missed like a week+ and I only have a few days left on my last faction.
You can also get extra done if each time you change faction you get a new "go get this weapon" daily.

Getting mine in 3 days, I knew that you don't have the dailys after that but since I don't need gold that much I would rather be "Crusader".

Also as you said it will probably come new ones in future patchs.

considering 2 of these you will get completed just by doing your champion dailies, that's 26 gold a day for zero extra effort

Yeah, except for the Weapon quest, those quests are pretty cluttered, i don't think you find any less time consuming dailies yielding 13.5g each except at Hodir's. But then again, you can still do them, too

I'd stop doing those after getting the Crusader title anyway... what's the point? If I just need gold, there are heaps of other dailies.

The sword quest alone, yes. All Argent Tournament daily quests together take about 40 minutes.

This makes me rethink getting all five factions done.

Dailies are so easy with the eight quests you get from Seal and mark quests:

Defeat the 4 Champions and 3 Valients for a total 36g80s (I'm exalted with all Horde factions, so I opt for the gold sacks)
Go to northwestern quadrant to kill off Chillmaw for 23g40s
Go south where the scourge are closely assembled and kill 10/15 of them for a total 36g80s
Fly south for the mounted citadel quests for another 36g80s
Fly south again to the general area I need to go in Crystalsong then (or if I have to kiss frogs, immediately after the citadel) port to Dal, then take a FP to the area I need to go... easy quest, takes a bit of time, but an easy 13g40s all the same.

If you can't picture it, that's manual fight across Icecrown to Crystalsong, flight point from Dal, a hearth to Dal, and a flight back to the AT grounds... That's maybe 30-60 minutes depending on luck, class, gear and general skill for 147g20s. If you didn't notice, there are three Valient quests within close proximity of or require most/all the same requirements as three Champion quests you'll be doing anyway, with only one being a notable detour after those three are done. Losing the Valient quests is a loss of 53g60s (so only 93g60s from pretty much the same tasks) each day with very little gain coming of it beside the minor time saver of not having the sword daily. 53g60s isn't much, but that is a potential 53g60s lost EVERY DAY, and who knows how long we'll be doing these?

I liken it to this: What if, in BC, after becoming exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive, we could do a reward quest that allowed us to access a second SSO quartermaster that had some cool things to buy, but after turning this quest in, we immediately lose access to 4-5 of their dailies? Seems like a pretty steep consequence for such a minor decision, especially one that's supposed to be a reward. That's what happens if you Champion all five factions, so it's a pretty big decision to make, in my opinion.

WotLK has plenty of dailies, you can't really compare it to TBC situation. There were the Ogrila, Skettis, Netherwing, profession and SSO dailies. That's it. But now... Icecrown dailies (Ebong Blade, Argent Crusade, Horde/Alliance), Sons of Hodir, Bruhnhildar village, Scholazar, Grizzly Hills, profession dailies plus Argent Tournament. It is more than enough to top that 25 dailies quota. Are four dailies less that big of a deal? Yes, three of them are at the same spots than Argent Crusade ones... but that's it. A minor, minor convenience in exchange for an awesome title.

tbh the "crusader" title wil be 2 a penny soon so cool factor will be very low ill keep the extra dailys plus for killing the scourge i always grab the blood of the chosen daily from the airship and go kill 20 vrykul in Ymirheim. 3 quests for the price of 1

Won't be long before everyone and their moms have the Crusader title. Keep the dailies if you just want cash, get the title if you don't care if it's as common as "Champion of the Frozen Wastes".

I also do this but i pick up the quest from The shadow vault where you have to put a flag or something in 10 people so yea 4qs by killing one mob

Then you're doing something horribly wrong, I usually have to wait a few minutes for my HS to come off cd when I'm done with the sword quest.

Im not gonna hand in my final city, considering I will be doing these dailies for the next 6 months for all the items, that's around 7000g gold. For what, a title that a million people have? I'll still to the Exalted title thanks.

But what you said about Crusader applies to CotFW. Some people like it. Some people think its fro teh nubs cuz tehys teh bad, k?
