    Viable Disc PVP Spec

I've been looking around and mostly i'm seeing a lot of priests using this spec http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc...00000000000000 I'm going to be doing 2s with my mage this afternoon when the realms come back up and try it. The majority of the profiles i've looked at have been over 2k in 2s and 3s. Gimme some feedback and let me know what might be better or just something that works for you at a high rating.

This is the spec that the number 1 priest in 2v2's is rollin right now and it's the one that I'm using as well. It's fuckin badass and looks a lot like yours, only with points in Divine Aegis instead of Absolution. I also did what you have in your spec and put 5 points into Spell Warding instead of Divine Fury.

With my spec, I like to have 1/3 in blessed recovery for 1 more buff to be purged/dispelled. I also go 5/5 Holy specialization and 3/5 spell warding. I would rather have the 5% higher crit for Divine Aegis procs than 15% more powerful renew ticks.

    Re: Viable Disc PVP Spec

Hmm the stuff in this thread is opposite of what I hear around town. Crit is hard to stack high enough in PVP gear so I heard that Divine Aegis could be dropped. For that same reason I was told not to take Holy Spec, even though I would think that PVP gear having low crit would make that talent more appealing. The opinions I've gathered though make it sound like picking up Holy Spec is futile still because the boost isn't enough with PVP gear.

To DA and Holy Spec or not to DA and Holy Spec, that is the question.

But hey, you guys are talking about the #1 priest and some high rating folks here so it sounds like I might take them.

I don't think you can really take one without the other either since DA depends on crit.

Also I always thought that we should be a little offensive whenever we can and Divine Fury really really helps that, especially since it seems like no one takes Enlightenment.

i pretty much got full satin/crit set minus belt/ring/boots for hit and trinkets for spellpower and with talents iam sitting at 24% crit which isnt really bad.

Disc priest are not really designed to outlast other healers like druid/pally. We are offensive healers and if you try to outlast your going to fail at higher ratings. With that being said imo crit is still superior to spirit in pvp even @ 24% crit
