FLAME LEVIATHAN 2 manned!!!

Hi there,

so me and my brother decided to 2 man flame leviathan in ulduar 10.

2 manning flame leviathan, that means 2 vehicles but we did it with one! Sounds impossible?
I was the driver (warrior) and my brother (mage) in the 2nd seat.
He was killed at 25th may 2009 23:52 EU server time.

Patch 3.2

We decided that Flame Leviathan was too hard, so he has been replaced with a Dark Iron Dwarf with 200 hp.
Trash has also been removed and hard mode is automatically engaged.

Only hard thing is to try to understand how BLZ think regarding content difficluty. I'm still struggling, so far I haven't understood.

SWP = mad hard but many guilds still came as far as M'uru prenerf.
Ulda = pisseasy included hardmodes excepet 2 bosses that 4-5 guilds wordwide downed.

Wonder why BLZ consider:
95% pisseasy + 5% impossible* a better solution than 90% hard +10% extremly hard
* top 2-4 guilds in the entire world down them (so far)

Yea, 0 towers up is epicly easy. I wonder why they would want the most fun encounter to be easy with a large gradient of hard modes?!?!

This is exactly right. Flame Leviathan is a vehicle fight that is SOMEWHAT based off of gear but hardly, nad has NOTHING to do with class mechanics. It's literally free loot with a full group, so pulling it off with anything smaller might actually present a challenge. However, it's nothing like the rest of the instance, and saying that "Ulduar" is easy when people can 2-3 man this is just like coming out and saying "I've never done FL or the rest of Ulduar."


Nonetheless, huge grats. This is encouragement to try this myself with a bud

11manned the 25man version yesterday with crap-geared alts, should be 5-6 mannable with a bit practise
