hi guys,
so i'm new to retribution pvp and i like some advice on the following:
- talents (plz link me some good pvp builds)
- glyphs
- gear (what stats, link maybe good pvp gear)
- rotations ( if that is even possible in pvp)
step one: lay head on KB
step two: faceroll
step 3: win
First of all, bear in mind that everyhing that is about to come, is coming from someone who's done a lot of BG's in both TBC and WotLK, but NO arena with a paladin, of any specc.Originally Posted by larss
When it comes to stats, your priorities should probably be along the lines of STA/RES->STR->CRIT
Resilience comes naturally with the PvP gear. Don't know how usual it is to gem or enchant for resilience, but afaik most people don't. Gemming for STA or STR would be better, and more common.
There are no real "rotations", except for starting off with Judgment, since it has the longest range, and you'll want your +3% crit on your target. Plus, if you judge Justice (which you probably should in PvP) you have the 100% speed limit applied to your target.
Aside from that, general things to remember would be: Use sacred shield, whether it's on you or your partner in arena. Have Hand of Freedom, Hand of Sacrifice and Divine Sacrifice (if specced into it, which you should be, if you're doing PvP) ready to use.
Save your Hammer of Justice for when it's needed. Don't just throw it out there because it's cool to whack someone who can't defend themselves. Besides, with all the stun reduction talents and gems out there, it's not going to be any 6 seconds either, so you might as well use it as an interrupt.
Repentance, on the other hand, WILL last its 6 seconds, unless they trinket out of it. Which means you should use it as an interrupt OR CC, and not for a guaranteed crit with Seal of Command (which most people seem to not be using anymore anyway).
Glyphs: For majors, I'm using Glyph of Judgment, and.....hmmm...I'm PvE specced now. So I really have no idea :S

step 5: auto-run
step 6: restart from step 1
-use this in BG's

This is an effective way to reach gladiator but not efficient imo, you could lose to rogues if you are not careful.Originally Posted by Hotshocklate
What i would do is.
Step one: Find a family member that is between the ages of 5 -7, family members with down syndrome can work also.
Step two: Hand them the keyboard
Step three: glue shiny objects to to all the keys
Step four: watch the destruction as he skillfully destroys every class in WoW.
Step five: collect your gladiator title, and your mount.
