I'm not sure how many dozens of times this has been suggested, so please don't flame me for this :/
I've seen it said that using SW:P before 5 stacks of shadow weaving will keep it that underpowered even through the resetting of Pain and Suffering. So based off an assumption that it stays how you apply it through resetting I'm wondering about a way to vastly improve it.
If you use Inner Focus on the first application of SW:P, will the 25% crit bonus apply to it through the resetting on PaS?

Haha, Nezoia, blunt but knowledgeable.
IF only works on the initial dmg part of SW:P I think. It does however work for the entire duration of channeled spells. If I'm wrong let me know Nezo lol. Thanks.

It works on first tick of SW:P, and all 3 ticks of Mind Flay. That's it.

Of course, since it affects all hits of channelled spells, using it on Mind Sear or Divine Hymn is very effective.

Every healing priest has it, and every PVP spec usually has it. I don't have the point to spare for it in my current shadow pve spec. It's not much of a DPS increase anyway (on singletargets, with mindsear it is rather nice though). Originally Posted by Lostprophet

To be fair, I use Inner Focus and Divine Hymn quite a lot as Shadow, during heavy AoE damage.
