Second, the thread is about highest DPS by average, not freak instances.

Anyone writing up mage as a top contender must realise that the whole class is built around procs. No procs = shit DPS.
If unlucky mages will be below most DPS no matter the gear (that is to say VERY unlucky) and the same goes the other way around, if lucky they rip the charts.

Top 3 consistent i would say:
1. Feral druid
2. Rogue (spec is depending on fight)
3. Destro lock
