Tier 9 Models Preview
This is now official, the sets we posted earlier are indeed the Tier 9 Armor models and multiple classes within the same faction will share the same armor model with different textures.

Indeed , they better work nicely over T 10 if it is indeed Icecrown ( as they stated so far )

But we have to wait for next build to see more T9 content I think.

I'm kinda disappointed with this. It's going to be so hard to give up T8 for this stuff. I think the warlocks look the best they ever have and now we have this to look forward to. *sigh* Oh well, there's always T10.

Reminds me of the old AQ40 stuff, Tier 2.5 if I remember correctly, where they only had the 4 armor models, and then the rest were re-colors. Which is fine by me.

This time is different though - aren't the Horde and Alliance versions supposed to be completely different? So really they're doing 8 armor models (instead of the usual 10) and 20 skins.

I'm possibly completely wrong, and probably partially wrong.

It's just Horde/Alliance Battlegear like in Vanilla-WoW with the PvP sets.


Ice Crown will sure have unique sets again.

the pvp armor should be the somewhat samey looking armor classes that are different for the factions

I would like to award Blizzard the worst tier sets of the expansion award, honestly t7 was just a re skin of t3, t8 looks terrible for most classes, and t9 is probably the laziest set ever made.
