Hello

What I need is a logo / text for my guild's website.

It's called Like Shooting Stars and we need someone creative to make us a text/text+logo fitting on our website: http://likeshootingstars.com (It's under construction so just press the about us or any other page because the front isnt finished)

I want it to be where our current text is now but far more shiny, professional and good looking.

I'd like it to say:

Like Shooting Stars
Kor'gall Alliance PvP Guild (in smaller and different font preferably in caps, well you know how it goes)

You can just make it in text form but you can also make a logo for us to match our website, alliance crest or something, really whatever comes up your mind. The webmaster said he needs it in .png so please upload it in .png

The font of our current text is quite fine - if it wasnt just that simple looking, altho I dont want it like the website which I'll link below has. Simplicity but with style is my moto.

I just randomly picked a semi good example of how I want ours to be - just the lotto font is horrible but Twisting Nether EU looks cool with the horde logo underneath. http://www.lotto-guild.com/forums . I hope you get me now.

General colour scheme: (Are you a green, nature loving Druid? Are you a Paladin, bathed in yellow light? Or, are you a Death Knight, in your chilling blue armor?) I want it to have a "warlock" feel to it, so greens, purples and blacks. a little darker feeling, maybe an evil scene of some sort behind (lab, graveyard, or something. only if it doesn't make it look too cluttered). I rather like this one

Any extras: (Being a user of nature magic, do you want leaves visible? Or, do you wish to have your Raven Lord mount watching over you, in the background?) I'd like my Felhunter visible on one side, and the Raven Lord mount behind him (just the head, like in the first picture i posted). A demonic rune (like the portal rune) behind the name/server would be amazing. Any other "demonic" touches would be awesome as well thanks folks and keep up the good work!

I took a run at this... not sure if it's what you are looking for or not... if you like it feel free to use it.

The background was pretty busy, so makes it hard to find the right way to present the fonts. If you keep it subtle, with the same colors you are using now (black with a faded orange glow), you tread close to it being unreadable.






If you go the other way, invert the lettering color, it makes the name pop, but it may not mesh well with the rest of the layout.





Both .png examples are the same dimensions as the current one on your site so if you decide to use it, you can just swap it and it'll require no further code tweaks.

Yes it is possible assuming your designer knows how to implement the script for OnMouseOver events into the header and tags.

I have been reading through this thread and have seen a lot of amazing work. So as anyone that has actually seen this i tought to myself that it would be awesome to get one for my much loved hunter.

Just got a question. Is there a list of artists available? or do i have to go manually through the posts?

Reason i ask this, is that although you are all amazing, i have seen some work/style that suited my personal preference more than others and therefor i thought i might as well try my luck through a pm.

But I have some odd gear requests. I want the character to be portrayed in the Brutal Gladiator warrior gear with a Stormwind tabard, and if any weapon is shown, make it Jin'rohk the Great Apocalypse.
I want a frost themed background, as heavily stylized as you want, subtlety isn't a priority, and I would like the pose to be the casting animation for death gate.
