Been really practicing making some signatures and whatnot, no real problems except I really struggle with making text! All your text looks lovely on your images, and I was wondering if you all great artist have some tips regarding this? I know downloading fonts and stuff but making it look good. blending, picking a color.. anything would be awesome help

I definitely struggle with text. My two favorite things to do is to kinda do an overlay, and then darkening/lightening it to make it stand out more, or just doing a gradient overlay so it matches the colors. But yeah, getting text to fit is really tough rofl.

I struggle with text a lot. Check some of the tutorials in the first post. Engelen's tutorial (for example) has some nice text tips.

Hello artists,

I would like to request a banner for the new mistweaver guide here at mmo-champ.

Size: I think 600x100 would do nicely, it's just an introductory banner to the guide.
Visible Text: The Serpent's Accord: A Mistweaver PvE Guide
Logo:: If possible, I would prefer a simple and ehm, homogeneous layout where everything fits in a clear manner, but to try and give a base for this banner something related to the Mistweaver default icon would look nice: http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/4923/mwicon.jpg
General colour scheme: Well, since the Celestial related to Mistweavers is the Jade serpent Yu'lon I would think tones of green would seem appropriate for the cause, but please don't exclude other possibilities.
Specifics: I think simple is the key word here, the font and creativity aspect is up to you since you're the specialist, but if possible some emphasis on Yu'lon or jade serpents, with the inclusion of the mistweaver specialisation icon would look awesome.

Hello Artists!

Our guild is getting back together and starting everything off fresh to be a semi-hardcore guild in 5.2. I have been searching the web for banners that would match our site, but have not come across any yet.

Banner:
Size: We are on enjin so it would be 1040px - 1060px wide
Visible text: The guild has been known for just using "WF" ----- (The guilds name is Warfare). Maybe add our server on there which is blackhand.
Logo: No there isn't a logo we want.
General colour scheme: Something to match the website which is warfare.enjin.com. It is more like a steel blue.
Specifics: The only thing I was thinking was to show off some of the guild's history and longevity (we started in vanilla - raided through to Wrath - jumped around in cata and now we are in MoP). It doesn't matter though if this doesn't work. We just really didn't want something MoP centric.

Signature/avatar please I posted a request nearly a week ago. Seems nobody claimed it so I'm re-posting but with a different request concerning the gear.

Long time reader, fairly new poster. Hoping for a 1920x1080 resolution wallpaper. I think I included the needed details.

Character: Mornak, Horde Tauren warrior.

Gear Set: Warrior T6 Onslaught armor, with Bulwark of Azzinoth shield and Dragonscale-Encrusted Longblade sword. Helm visible pls.
Visable text: Character name, guild "The Insane Asylum", and US-Kilrogg-Horde. Also Horde symbol might look good too.

I'm usually a tank, so some kind of pose or environment, with the energy that usually comes with tanking. Guess something related to a tank being in the middle of a pack of mobs, swinging his weapon and shield slamming like crazy. I like darker colors like blue, gray, black combination.
