    Prot PVP questions

I'm mainly Prot healing spec but also want to be Prot tanking in arena too..

What would be the best spec to PVP in Prot spec?
What is the health and resil cap for Prot? (is it better to just go PVE gear?)
Putting points in reckoning worth it?

if you want to pvp prot don't try and be a healer, that's what the holy tree is for

    this is a bit better.

next patch it will most likely be better to use Ret gear for Prot PVP, you will lose the mitigation from PVE tank gear against melee but you will gain the resilience for lower spell crits (which is our biggest problem)

i'm still using PVE tanking gear for now though. (i personally went with tuskar vitality on boots and put the 2 points from PoJ into conviction for more crit)

The New Ardent Defender Autorez will scale off Defense, so Prot PvE gear will be mandatory ^^ (at least if u want to Cheat Death )

yes but the lack of resilience will make you as squishy as a clothie since they are buffing resil so much next patch

For BG's, I agree 100%. For Arena's, this spec is tremendously powerful with the right partner and extremely fun.
