Holy Paladin PvE Healing

Hey, seeing as paladins are changing a ton, I'm wondering whats the new strat behind the gear and behind what spells you cast seeing as its not just HL spam anymore or at least you cant in hard modes. I'm wondering is it all about int still or is it gonna be changing to haste or spell power. Are people gonna change up using 4 piece t7.5 for 2 piece t7.5 w/ 2 piece t8.5 for the holy shock crit and heal. Or just go with the full t8.5, and i was also wondering if the glyphs are still the same as they were SoW/HL/Beacon. Anyways hopefully someone can help me figure this out and show me which way pallys are going now.

get the program rawr. click option (3.2) it will give u best options compared to what u have. and with the switch from t7 to 8 the gear has been itemized more for burst healing and less for long fight healing (HL spam) already.

Int is still going to be the best stat for holy paladins.

Some might argue that sp is gonna be up there as well for certain builds, such as FoL spam.

2pc t7 and 2 pc t8 is horrible imo, holy shock should only be used when you need a quick instant heal and have no time to cast, otherwise it will oom you faster than other spells and it's also not the most mana efficient spell, therefore it shouldn't be spammed whenever it is off of cooldown.

4 pc t8 is probably gonna be the best way to go.

RAWR is only a good addon for DPS. Unless it has been updated for Holy Paladins with the 3.2 Version (Int >>> MP5 >>> Haste >>> SP >>> CRIT)
Gem int in every socket with a +10 to all stats gem to fill the meta requirement (get more int that way).
This is for a HL Spam build.
If you want a FoL Spam build
Stack everything for spell power lol.

yeah Int is going to be the way for gems. i see us grabbing less crit until we get like 200 mp5 whille casting or some sort. it really depends on how your going to play next spec. personally im going to grab legs and gloves from ulduar (So stupid of me to pass on them :X) and go with the 4 pc bonus and then go DS spec. The glyphs should be the same but they changed the BoL glyph which doesnt do its double time but increases healing by 2x i think, ill have to recheck, Its 5:30 AM and im too tired to do math atm so my answer may be correct or incorrect.

There is not middle of the road option as far as i am aware with Paladins.
I've heard a middle of road experiments which result in a) Less HPS than the Full SP and foling and Full Int and Hling.

Maybe it's just me, but all this blah blah blah you won't be able to spam HL after 3.2 just makes me want to do it even more and prove it can still be done. And should be.

I'm sure a month after 3.2 you'll have some paladin decked in mp5 gear showing everyone how he can HL spam non-stop.

Then they'll simply remove illumation from our spec and nerf DP to something like 10% mana regeneration but give prots and rets abilities to maximize it.

just been looking through the loot lists and there is some nice Spell+Crit + haste gear in there.. DAMN YOU BLIZZ.. why couldnt you have put it in ulduar instead of all this mp5 rubbish we have been lumped with..

Now i know all that gear is in there im going to be a stubborn sod and carry on as i am regardless, blizz may try and stop me by changing the game mechanics but hell to em.. i'll be stacking crit + haste gear until the cows come home... hey i mean even gem for int as well eh.. stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

In order to force us to keep raiding to get new bis -even if the only thing that will stay clear after 3.2 release is that we'll keep being annoyed by <BoM plxkkbai> tells xD

HL spaming in raids will be possible.
tests on PTR with mp5 gear (even gems!) lastet 2:25min hl spaming

had T7,5 4*bonus, 51/5/15 specc, mp5-flask (incl mixology) , mp5food , SoWis => 505mp5 while casting, 2090sp, 27% crit, 440haste.

so in raids you should be able to sustain a good HLspam xD with buff to bacon it sound well.

I'm going to keep thinking that stacking Int and SP will be important, along with crit. I'm just wondering, what should I worry about more now? Crit or MP5? I want to get my flasks/food/gems ready for when 3.2 launches so I'll be ready to raid.

with the change in beacon, if u can spam HL for a 5-15min fight you will be the most op healer ever and we will all get nerfed again.

Beacon tank, HL a group of melee or ranged over and over again. so even overheals go to mt so he never dies, and you glyph splash heals all of melee or ranged whatever the case. crazy.

thing is they won't let u. U will have times, especially times when DI is up and after u use DP macro'd to AW, but overall u will have way more HL down time where u will keep up ss on tank and flash him till u can get some mana back.
