I'm not 100% sure but I could have swore I seen a kitty jet off like a rocket before in a BG... not sure I could be mistaken, but I thought wtf when it happened. It had the eng rocket boots smoke and all. This wasnt too long ago either.

I'm running up a kitty myself and I will be looking into this.
