Blacksmithing and Meta gems ...

As Blacksmither you can have 3 more sockets on your gear: on belt, hands and wrist.
My question is, becouse all 3 sockets count as prismatic sockets, is it possible to put 3 meta gems there? Or you can only have one on your Head?

I've seen similar topics come up in trade chat, recently... here's the short version:

Gems come in four basic flavors: red, yellow, blue, meta.

Some gems come in a combination of two (or rarely three) of the first three: purple gems count as both red and blue, for example.

Gem sockets come in five basic flavors: red, yellow, blue, meta, prismatic.

Meta gems ONLY go in meta sockets.

Other gems can go into ANY socket. Yes, you can socket a red gem in a yellow socket. You only get the socket bonus, however, if you match colors. This means that yellow socket needs a yellow, orange (red+yellow), or green (blue+yellow) gem to get the bonus... but if that socket bonus isn't all that great, you can socket a red and get the stats you want.
