Firefighter - Mimiron Hardmode 10 man. >>Need Help<<

Hi, my guild is currently going for the Rusted proto drake and we've managed to do everything apart from Mimiron, General, and Yoggy hard modes.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a writen guide for mimiron, hopefully with a video with a narrator explaining what to do. I've searched for about 30 minutes to and hour and haven't found anything that is really that useful. I want something that my group can look at, read, take it all in, and then understand 100% what to do.

I know it's alot to ask for, but if anyone has anything useful, please post it.

PS: Alone in the darkness (0 keepers) is NOT required to get the drake, doing this with 3 keepers up (one deactivated) is what is required (others will count)

Yogg+1 and General are very easy hard modes on 10man.
My guild and I, had 2 tries on General HM, 2 hours on Yogg+1 due to retards we called it a night. The day after we took it down on the 2nd try.

Mimiron is a bitch tho', get an even balance of melee and ranged.
When it comes to healers, it doesn't really matter any more which combo you take. But priests are really kickass here.
As for tanks, we have a death knight, since they have awesome cooldowns, and alot of them. We normally have a dps warrior tanking the head in ph3 and ph4.
Today we had a warlock tanking it, it went fine, tho' abit chaotic in ph4 if you ask me.

I hope you can use this, it really worked out for us.

Ok, thanks for the info.

Our setup for the few tries that we got wtfpwned in was this:

1 Protection Warrior
1 Druid (Tank)
1 Mage (Me)
1 Elemental Shaman
1 Holy Paladin
1 Retribution Paladin
1 Holy Priest
1 Discipline Priest
1 DPS Death Knight (Not a clue what his specc was >.>)
1 Warlock (I think maybe Destro, not sure :P)

You should let the drood go dps, feral or balance, what ever he prefer.
Warrior should be able to survive the plasma with cooldowns, ofcourse the healers needs to use cooldowns on him aswell. Such as, Guardian Spirit, Pain Suppression and Blessing of Sacrifice(think it's called that). They might have more, I dont know, Im just a shaman(lol).

I can post some pictures of how we are positioned, and how we kite the fire around.

One question, do you have one assigned to kite the first fire?

Anything can tank the head with 20k+ health....it hits like a bitch

a dps warrior can technically grab aggro with heroic throw and spell reflect, but it doesnt really leave much of a threat ceiling for any ranged at all. we have any ranged in the raid hold aggro on it and drag it around until we're ready to bring it down.

I figured that much, just trying to understand the advantage of the dps warrior tank OTHER than the health we have raid buffed., with just those abilities, our dps lock would peel off of me in seconds.

there are some tips for you

our arms warrior taunted the mobs as the feral did more dps.
he does very few damage in this phase

My group has a feral druid(who is normally kitty) goes bear and stands around the bottom or far enough to avoid fire, and takes the bombs.
