    Faction Champions

Im just curious on other peoples kills.. We ended up killing it last night however the fight lasted 21 Minutes....

Our Rogue had 436 Interrupts and it was a very long fight.. Were we doing something wrong? lol

We Focus'd 1 Target at a time.. Started with the Warlock than went on to other dps.. While we had people using CC and tanks locking out the healers.

    Re: Faction Champions

Ours definitely didn't last that long.

You ALWAYS kill the Resto Shaman first. It's just easier to CC the DPS and kill the Healers than vice versa. Keep things Cycloned. Save stuns for DPS, use interrupts only on healers. Get ready to spam Mass Dispel.

Fear things, cyclone things, just keep whatever you can CC'd for the longest. If one target becomes immune, do it to another target.

Also, steal Pally Wings and Pally BoPs.

    Re: Faction Champions

ours was 3.5 mins pretty easy 2 wipes got it on the 3rd try.

take a look maybe you can get some ideas. CC is key here. CC'ing the right folks takes strategic thought.

Our kill took maybe 5 minutes tops, first try, entire raid took 25 minutes from first boss.

    Re: Faction Champions

We did 25 man last night. CC is key.
We had 3 DK's CC the 3 main melee (DK, Warr, Prot Pally?). DK CC was taunt, death grip, chains.
We had 2 Druids alternate CC the Spriest and Hunter.
We had hunters and rogues on healer interrupts if i recall.
The healers were focus fired in the following order: Shaman, Pally, Druid

heals don't really heal for shit we learned. It's easier to just save healers for last and nuke all the DPS first starting with the most lethal.

We did exactly like this. Dk's are very useful on the melee.

    Re: Faction Champions

Yep..we did this on 25 last night too. CC is key to winning. We only had 1 dk (me) in the raid because the other two thought they should be at blizzcon (bastards...it doesn't take 3 days to get ready for blizzcon). I setup two chains of ice macros for the DK and Warrior. I cast chains of ice 91 times before we won lol.

    Re: Faction Champions

From a healer perspective CC that Shadowpriest really well or make sure he dies right after the Resto Shaman/Druid. The Shadowpriest was number #1 on DPS for us almost every time and it just became to hectic. So we killed the Resto Druid CC'd the Holy Pally, and killed the Shadowpriest which made everything a lot easier on the Healers having only one person die at the very start. Altogether though it took us maybe 15 mins to pull 2 times, and get it down.

Note: We didn't have a Resto Shaman we had a Enhance Shaman.

    Re: Faction Champions

We kited the melee, CCd the ranged and killed the healers first, then ranged, then melee. We made sure everything was dispelled, and did it on the second try.

I wanna see you kill a dps with 3 healers rolling hots that heal for 55k every 3 seconds each. Don't forget about flash heals that heal for about 50k.

    Re: Faction Champions

We placed ourself on the oposite side of the room from the faction champions, marked the healers up (priest, pala, shaman), we killed the priest first, then shaman, then paladin.
We poped heroism right at the start to burst down the first mobs asap.
We didn't use any direct CC and just went with sheeping, hexing, fearing when called. But we have nothing assigned since Diminishing returns works in this fight and it makes the mobs immune after a couple of chain CCs.

Then we had a mages spellsteal the mobs bloodlust, or a shaman purge it off them.

Was an very easy and a somewhat fast kill. Was a 2-shot (first pull was a ninjapull -.-' ) and it took about 8-9 minutes or something to get them down. We did have like.. 4 deaths or something but Rebirth solved that problem easily.

The ONLY thing we had assigned was 1 person on each of the healers, just interupting as much as they could.

I really hope that the Twins and Anub'arak are going to be more challenging than the 3 very easy bosses that we've seen so far in TotC.
