So I've done some mounts and I've figured out how much our little friends will have to pay for their Riding and Mount.

Without other reputation

Apprentice

Apprentice Training - 3 gold 20 silver
Lv. 20 Mount - 80 silver
Total - 4 gold

Journeyman

Journeyman Training - 32 gold
Lv. 40 Mount - 8 gold
Total - 40 gold

Expert

Expert Training - 480 gold
Lv. 60 Mount - 40 gold
Total - 520 gold

Artisan

Artisan Training - 4800 gold
Lv. 60 Mount - 180 gold
Total - 4980 gold

Cold Weather Flying

Cold Weather Training - 800 gold
Total - 800 gold

Are you happy with them getting such a large discount?

They save a lot more than that.

It does seem like a lot. But as for whether it's too much, we'll just need to wait and see what they do to everyone else's racials.

I'm pretty sure that they don't get more discounts than the exalted one. They just save 20% from neutral rep, it doesn't go up.

Did Blizzard say that it would stack with reputation discounts? I assumed they just got exalted discount regardless of reputation.

Ehm...the flying mounts don't have a rep faction attached to them. They get the MAX REP DISCOUNT, but it only applies if there is a rep faction to get a discount with.

Wrong - They get best possible discount, not like you suggest it will be.
However they will also upgrade other races racials, so don't cry already will ya?
