vanilla farming as solo paladin questions

if i wanna solo farm zg and mc bosses for legendary and mounts what specc and gear sockets enchants should i get? would be great if anyone can do a specc and explain little of it for me as i only play holy pve and retri pvp with my pala? is the bosses in zg and mc solo able?

Varies alot from boss to boss; some favor ret due to the need to kill the boss quickly and keep yourself healed up via SoL/JoL/AoW procs (ex: baron geddon), others favor the pure ability to outlive the encounter (ex: garr/golemagg).

As for gearing ret anything as far as raiding gear helps (expertise/hit cap, str str str), and for prot shield block value will be king followed by stam/str.

Im going to go ahead and say that without a decent prot set and some skill/luck you won't enjoy the tiger boss in ZG. The spam healing they do along with the lack of burst and/or an interrupt is annoying and can make it take a long ass time. The raptor boss is alot easier if you can help from being feared into trash and keep yourself alive.
