- Change the gem in your ashen ring to pure strength
- Your spec is weird, I mean why Divinity? Take out the 4 points in it and the 2 points in Vindication and go for Aura Mastery (Ignore this if you are the one bringing the AP reduction debuff)
- You are under the hitcap, you should probably change one of your str+crit gems to str+hit gem (I could be wrong here since the you are only 0.19 under the cap)

Im only keeping Mark of Supremacy untill I get heroic claymore and hopefully deaths choice/ heroic Whispering Fanged Skull.
Reason for not having the agi ashen verdict ring instead of might of blight is that this is actually my off specc.
(And yes my neck is crap)

-1 Bad gemming in your belt : Same as chest 3* Str
-1 Wrong repu ring : The agi one is better
-1 Some 100ish hit over the cap: This can be solved bei either replacing that crappy chest or the crappy belt (the agi badges belt is far better than the plate one -.-)

-1 Bad spec : Aura mastery is better than the regular Divine Sacrifice.

Belt and Neck also is a must for upgrades.
Wrong spec since i'm doing also pvp,so i'm respeccing all the time(PvE to PvP and otherwise)

-1 Gemming Yellow Sockets with +4 str bonus should be 10 str + 10 Crist
-1 Cloak Enchant should be +23 Haste
-0 Specc cause i think (hope) you are in PvP Specc -.-

Nillo was semi-correct and so are you. The chestpiece should be socketed for pure str. I have explained this many times before, but I'll do it again. When you have a RBY set of sockets in the chest, you are required to use 2 hybrid gems to make the 8 Str socket bonus. Effectively you are only getting 4 Str per hybrid gem. With the Nightmare Tear in the belt, the socket bonus gained is a full 6Str.

PvE ret paladins should never EVER use Sovereign Dreadstones (10Str/15Stam). The pally in question has multiple of these gems.

I agree that the NMT is wasted in the boots as you pointed out, but I initially made the same mistake Nillo made. There are a couple sets of plate DPS boots and I initially just assumed that this guy has the boots with the red/blue sockets. Shit happens.

Aside from loading the two rings into Rawr an accepting the output, you can compare them side by side with stat weights.

[Ashen Band of Endless Vengeance] vs [Ashen Band of Endless Might]

By looking only at the differences (hit, crit and proc are identical) would look something like this...

99 Strength vs 88 Agility + 135 Attack Power

Now plug in the stat weights and you get...

( 99 x 204 ) vs ( 88 x 130 ) + ( 135 x 81 )
20196 vs 22375

The Agi ring edges out the Str ring by a fair amount because of the amount of crit that ret pallys gain from the Agi.
