    Conflagrate - Immune?

    My Rotation is:

    CoD->Immolate->Conflagrate->Chaos Bolt->Incinerate(x3)

    Now that I'm Raiding Destruction (mostly) I've noticed a lot of mobs/bosses are Immune to Conflagrate. Does this cause a problem? Obviously, when a mob is Immune to a spell, you take a DPS hit. How do you get around the immunity? I've been tossing out a Shadow Bolt at the end. Does this compensate?

    They're immune to the daze, not the damage component.

    ^^ What he said. You're still doing damage... and yes, it's VERY much well worth casting. The DPS is huge.

    If this bf doesn't work out, you should PM me. ^_^
    Your comments are duly noted and ignored.
    I punch a hobo every time someone says 'it's not a rotation it's a priority list lol'.

    Tossing out the Shadow Bolt you mean? So, should I do:

    CoD->Immolate->Conflagrate->Chaos Bolt->Incinerate(x3)->Shadow Bolt?

    When we (the Raid) Bloodlust...I've been just spamming Shadow Bolt after my Rotation until Immolate or CoD is up. Is that okay or should I continue my rotation and forget Shadow Bolt?

    Just thought of another question semi-related to this topic (Destruction):

    Would I be taking that much of a hit if I pushed 1 Skill Point over from Demonic Aegis to Fel Domination for faster Imp Summoning? Does my Imp help that much towards my DPS?

    Sorry, the Imp gives 20% Crit or Demonic Aegis?

    he has base 5% crit

    shaman/boomkin aura 5% + scorch 5% + paladin judge 3% =18% to you and pet

    empowered imp buffs you with a 100% crit buff whenever your pet crits
    18% more crit (close to that) for you

    Desparate much? Anyway, your Imp shouldn't die in the first place, but if you find yourself resummoning it alot then take Fel Dom.

    Shadow Bolt is never worth using unless the mob you're trying to kill is immune to fire. Incinerate will always do more dmg than Shadow Bolt as far as you keep Immolate up on your target, which should be always.

    And your rotation will be abit more flexible than that, you should see it more like a Prio-list than a rotation in my opinion.

    1. CoD
    2. Immolate
    3. Conflagrate
    4. Chaos Bolt
    5. Incinerate

    First get your debuffs up, then use Conflag + Chaos Bolt whenever they are up, if all debuffs are up and Conflag + Chaos Bolt are on cooldown spam Incinerate until you need to redo Immolate or Conflag or Chaos Bolt comes of CD.

    Thanks for the information! Yes, that is essentially what I've been doing. I didn't want to say it here because, if I were wrong, I'd likely have been crucified!

    Quz(bis), my Imp, rarely dies. When he does, it's a b*tch to re-summon. I'll switch to Fel Domination!

    Thanks for everyone's help that helped.
