Jayroma, if you had a mastery trinket instead of that dodge trinket, you would be almost CTC capped. You could also reforge more of those items to mastery, and would probably get more CTC out of some of the items by reforging the avoidance stat instead of the threat stat (for example you could reforge the parry rating on the helmet to mastery.

The helmet currently has about 2% parry on it (185 rating ~ 1%) and about 0.8% block (~2.8% CTC).
Reforged, it would have about 232 parry rating (~1.3%) and 156 mastery rating (~1.95% block) which comes out at about 3.25% CTC.

7.5/10. Fix your CTC and you can make it an 8.5

I stack stamina because my healers prefer it over any other. I'm CTC capped (overcapped even), so they prefer it if I take less % damage of my health from a large hit, as the only real way of increasing my effective health now is stamina (since improved armor pieces died an expansion ago)

The ring and the neck come with pretty good stats, also the relic being a minor upgrade is still BiS. Overall pretty nice paladin 9/10 from me

I'd give it a 9/10 for that.

Seems like you are CTC capped with buffs/dodge food so you are well covered on that.

One suggestion for tanking physical mitigation heavy fights (Lootship/Morchok for example) perhaps you would want to consider switching Spindle Silk Fibre for Resolve of the undying? Pushing some of your block into dodge. This could require you to regem/reforge quite a chunk of stats to once again reach CTC cap.

Another would be your cloak. Unless im mistaken there aren't any cloaks available from DS so the only one available would be the VP vendor cloak. Get that!!

Overall a very solid stat selection where stam + block combo is prefered over high dodge+parry with lower block. Hope my suggestions helped!

Not bad at all although i am confused by one thing "pyrium weapon chain" as far as i know i dont see a practical use as no boss that i know of disarms you. Unless you are going for hit cap to boost your dps because you are already CTC capped and you are using the enchant for the hit rating.

Your reforging is fine, but you got some bad gem choices. Until you are block capped, always use parry+mastery for red, mastery for yellow, and mastery+stamina for blue. Never gem for dodge; it doesn't really matter after you get full CTC, but you're still quite far from it.

Regarding trinkets, I'm not sure if there's any point in using 2 mastery trinkets at this point to cap block, since max HP is pretty important for many DS fights.
I wouldn't recommend using a dodge proc/use trinkets since dodge is too unreliable to be considered a defensive cooldown (Fire of the Deep is still good for mastery, probably your best choice if you can't get 391 spindle).
For stamina trinkets, Scales of Life are still quite good if you use them at low hp, though you probably don't want to spend gold on them at this point. Indomitable Pride is great, though I guess it has a very low drop rate. Soulshifter Vortex also has good stamina, but its proc is 100% wasted.

I'd put it at 7/10

I've a clear goal in terms of where I want to go with him, unfortunately my normal riading team have gone to SWtor so I'll probably be looking into going LFR for some gear, but I had a bis list prepared to tick off one by one.

I've been working hard trying to grab the Trinket from Hour of twilight. It dropped first run but a DK ninja'd it from me, which was very annoying : /

Any comments or feedback is much appreciated, this sub-forum has been a massive help for me and my paladin

I posted earlier but I geared up a lot since then so I thought it was time I got rated again. eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormscale/Theboot/advanced

Right now missing 1 chimera but I am waiting for a new piece/doing a 101 stamina in chest or shield while waiting. Also the points in holy is because of my 2pc set, which feels higher valued compared to pursuit of justice. I also miss a few red epic gems but that is because they are extremely expensive on my realm and I have had no luck with the trade-ins.

Looking mighty fine. Nice parry/dodge being close! Maybe epic gems in your 397 pieces to switch some other gems for more stamina? 8/10 for no epic gems, they do more than you think after getting a few

(I also hate my shoulders but im trying to rush for 4pc without taking too much tokens from guild, doing 10 man so tokens are rare.)

He is only an alt tank, for when we don't have our offtank on(and have too many DPS on)

Looks well, Arellius, but at your gearlevel i would probally drop some of the mastery gems in favor of more sta and reforge into mastery to make up for it
