Re: Rate the Paladin Tank above you!

I just bought the belt from frost emblems, the one i had before was from ToC10 so it was the best upgrade i could get. Now im not sure what to go for, trinket or maybe t10 shoulders? help

    http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...trom&cn=Cripez

Also, is the Craft boots worth to get? or should i go for ones in icc10/25?

    @Cripez

Rawr swap out that Dodge/stam gem for a Agi/stam gem change your wep enchant to goose/blood draining also that trinket has to go it is your weakest item so I would think about getting the frost one or the Black heart from Reg ToC wich is OP yes the crafted boots are sexy as hell and you should get them!

If you're going to craft an item, go for the tanking legs - they cost more, but it's definitely worth it. The boots are also good, but I'd make those second.

What you want to pick up, assuming you won't ever see ICC 25 hard modes, is this:
T10 helm (eventually upgraded to 264)
    Emblem of Frost chest
    Emblem of Frost gloves
    Crafted legs
    Emblem of Frost trinket
    Emblem of Frost cloak

Not necessarily in that order, but really what order you purchase items in is up to you. I went for the cloak last, since it wasn't the largest upgrade for me. You can purchase the T10 shoulders after those if you haven't had the shoulders from 25 man Gunship by then; they're not too far behind once upgraded to 264.

I made a "am I ready" thread a while back, and have made some improvements. I was just hoping for some advice.

    http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...has&cn=Purusum

I'm going to grab another handful of triumph badges and buy my 245 T9 legs (+23 stam) and I'm working towards the frost badge cloak. I run my totc's when I can looking for the trinket to replace the black heart, and a new shield. So what I'm wondering, at what point should I start worrying about my avoidance. As far as I can tell I'm ok, although come ICC that dodge debuff sucks.

Edit: I don't usually get into ICC on a weekly basis, so I haven't really looked into a lot of loot in there.

Yes, I'm still level 80. No I don't have cataclysm.

atm its not worth it to get the trinket from emblems and its better than the one from toc. my wep isnt worth to enchant with goose/blood

Hit looks good, gemming looks good, but switch +10 stats on chest for 275 health and Titanweave for Armor enchant.
Your spec is a bit iffy. First of all, Divinity is just bad. Get Divine Sacrifice/Guardian.
And since Touched by the Light is our 2nd best threat talent, you're better off with 3/3 there than 2/2 Spiritual Attunement.
Also, Vindication can be a good choice for raiding since Warriors and IIRC Druids have to spend 5 talent points and a GCD to get the same debuff you do passively with just 2 points.

Also, at higher gear levels the avoidance should come naturally. You'll probably be fine.

Thanks for the heads up on the enchants as well.

Personally, I'd keep Pursuit of Justice. Conviction is our weakest threat talent anyway.

only thing I'm not too fond of is the shield ench, but it's just a minor detail.

    Onto the shameful part now:
    http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...kull&cn=Tutela
I'm pretty sure that something needs to change and quickly too, I can't seem to make up my mind if I should go for the 4 pieces bonus or just screw it, keep only helm and chest and get the gloves from the frost emblems.
Add to that the fact that i find myself short of defense, by barely making it to 540, that could depend from the shield and the weapon tho.
Go ahead, every bit of advice will be gladly read.

I don't roll with any other paladin tanks in my guild, just a dk and warrior, so I don't have much input on how I'm doing "paladinwise". Don't rail on me too hard :P

upgrade chest enchat to 275 hp, change the helm gem to agi/stam, glove enchant to 20 agi, take the points out of reckoning for ds/dg, and 2 out of conviction for vindication.
    Pondering returning.

Specc: Put the points in conviction that is a weak treath specc to Persuit of Justice(let's you have 22 stamina on boots) and 1 point in SoC aoe treath seal.

Enchants: Replace following: Shoulder ench to 30 stamina, Back to 225 armor, Chest to 275 hp, Hands to 18 stam, feets to 22 stam, shield to 18 stam. If you go under 540 def keep one def enchant. Mongoose on Wep

Gems: I wouldn't go for that many weak socket bonuses as you do, tho your choice. Never socket 10 all stats as a protpala.

    That's about it 5/10

8/10, both the spec and the glyphs are generally fine (even tho I'd change the Hammer of the Righteousness for the taunt one, since you already have the Seal of Command specced for aoe tanking), it's clear that you are a stam enthusiast from the socketing, wich i don't full agree on but respect as it's a matter of personal taste, still the enchant on the gloves should be agi anyways.

I'll link my profile again since the earlier post got ignored

Give me a reason why change to 20 agi? and 275hp on chest is still way better than 10 all stats. 10str 10 agi verses 175 hp. Ofc I'm a stamina enthusiast since I don't lack defense such as you do. You would be that aswell If you had more defense gear and were not forced to gem/enchant defense

Perhaps it's a reason of personal taste again, i like having some extra avoidance from slots where the enchant that gives stamina isn't that life-changing, I had no mean to be offensive in any way tho
And for the defense thingy, you're most certainly right, but I did some choices in gearing (say, crafted pieces + Tier Chest) that led me to be surprisingly undercapped, and that's something I don't like myself in first place.

Can't find any flaw at all. Only thing would be that 18 stam on gloves possibly would yield more EH, but as I haven't done the math myself I can't say for sure.
SoC is a matter of taste so I won't comment on not speccing that.

For the poster below, my reasoning for using both HotR glyph and SoC is to make heroic tanking easier and go faster due to more damage. Other than that, nitpick on anything you want.
