    Basic PvP Priest Guide

    http://www.pvpaymon.com/2009/09/basi...est-guide.html

Wrote up this guide for newer priests in arenas.

Would like to know your input on this and what major things I am missing. I eventually got burned out towards the end and just had to get this done ><

Thanks, and I hope it helps :P

    Re: Basic PvP Priest Guide

    Just a few comments:

-perhaps explanations as to the different talents and talent trees that you've picked, and what they have to offer to the priest? (ie, my 57/14 is kinda different from your 57/14)
-glyph section? Those are always open to debate for PvP priests
    -spriest section?
    -gemming?
    -how 'bout 'em macros?

    Re: Basic PvP Priest Guide

The specs are all goofy, there's basically no explanation to anything... I'm not sure what you intend the purpose of the guide to be. The most comprehensive section is comparing the three specs you offer. The problem is none of those specs should be used for arena. No explanation on gear... not much of anything. This sums up the 'guide':

Use the season's Mooncloth gear, or Satin gear. Mix and match the PVP off-set pieces. Spec 60/11, 57/14, or 54/17. Don't dispel UA. Keybind your abilities. Use shields and heal. Do damage if you need to. Use a stopcasting SW macro.

I understand you want it to be a really basic guide, but there's a limit to how basic you can get before it becomes completely useless. Even the above would need to be amended though, because some of the 'basic' advise is wrong. For example: Use Satin, not Mooncloth because in any fight long enough for the Spirit to constitute sufficient extra mana you will be able to sneak a drink.

Yea I understand what you are saying. I did not intend to really finish the guide right there on the spot and will be updating it every so often with more info ^.^

Your right. That was def wrong advice for arena you cant do any real arena'ing without spirit.

For a BG's satin might be beter I gues it would depend not that he said his guide was for arena but... I havnt tested it though. I cant stand healing people in bg's half the time just because they just ignore anything atacking you dont bother to save you and most of the time just expect you to heal untill you die then come back and do it again.

There is an arena guide at the top of the page, feel free to pull some info in that guide out and put in into yours to help you fill your guide out.
When people say "pls" just because its shorter then "please", I feel totally justified to say "No" just because its shorter then "Yes".
