just a small question, on demonology do you cast Hand of Gul'dan every time it is off CD, or just to refresh Immo? or when HoG effect runs out .

First of all, since you were progressing on Chim Hm, why not go affdrain?
Second, the uptime of UA/Haunt was 80% at that try. This might be due to the fact that you miss due to caustic slime. Make sure not to waste your haunt when this debuff is on you.

My ping is usually 200+ms so I don't think drain is worth it. And yes, thanks, that was stupid of me to keep casting Haunt during Caustic.

I think a rough 500 DPS loss vs. one target less to have stress healing on, might be alot Your choice ofc.

Ok guys, need some serious help here.
Halfus has never been a strong boss for me, although I know it should be. Tbh, I've never been able to maximise my dps on this fight, and I know I'm probably missing something hugely basic but I just can't see it. Any help or advice on how I can improve on this fight would be greatly appreciated.

First obvious thing is to get your ISF buff up-time above 45%, I'm not saying you should have 100% but it should be way higher than what it is.

And it looks like your pet isn't doing anything most of the fight. My felhunter did 16k dps on his own on Halfus this week.

I personally have my abilities macro'd so that my pet attacks the target I'm attacking. You can do it like this:

/cast Immolate
/petattack [target=target]

That should make the pet attack the target you're currently on. It is more helpful for fights where you need as much dps on a target you switch to as possible.

hi , i have an ivl of 366 and i feel somehow that my dps isnt up to my gear somehow.. any suggestions on any lil small tips or tricks to improve my dps?

So, we were on Cho'gall today and i wasn't quite happy with the damage i was doing on him. We never got to the final phase tho, so i suppose it should increase a little there, however i still feel that i should be doing a little better...

Demonology spec, for the massive AOE. Felguard, hellfire for the whelps.

The thing is, I am doing my best with the dps, but somehow, I am not pleased. Reforged the gear, correctly enchanted and gemmed.

Any advice is welcome, dps on dummies is:
Demo: 16k
Destro: 16.3k Using BoH, BoD, Elements, and the usual Demon soul (off cd), and the other spells/dots.
When I look at my dps @ dummies (with DI on pet), and so on, it is just ALOT lower then the raids.
In 10 man raids my dps seemed to be higher then 25 man, probably because of my laptop aswell.

Am specced into Nether Ward for the dmg reduction during raids aswell.

Hey there!

To cut the story short; My ranged officer is threatening to trial me and our other warlock with 2 new trialists as he feels we're not playing to our maximum! I'm here for some help as i'm really stumped on what i'm doing wrong!

I'm currently playing Affliction. My spec and glyphs are those that are recommended.

My opening rotation would be: "SB > Haunt > BoD > Corr > UA >SB". I'm using CDs on pull (Gloves + Racials + DS) and then during the fight Gloves (1m CD) Racial + Gloves when they align and DS every CD when it aligns with Gloves.

Really after as much help as possible so you have my thanks in advance!

Looking at one what I think is your most recent V&T kill, your dot uptimes are like 10% under what they need to be, you've dropped like 200 hit and 50 int to reach that haste plateau and you aren't even keeping up your dots to make use of that
