Toce, with my current gear, RAWR shows that version of Edge of Agony(2x 20Str gems) at 1501.16 DPS. Without changing any other gear, RAWR shows Aesir's Edge (2x 20Str gems) at 1324.06 DPS. Its really not even close.

you dont need to use rawr for something that simple common...

Because you kinda know better but still choose to be naive makes me think that you are more of a casual player. Being in a very competitive progression guild, I know that my guildmates would call me out if I made a mistake/assumption/oversight like that.

I usually just go by what has higher low end dmg and higher top end dmg, and has higher dps, and has more sockets and has more strength, and which equip stats have a higher score when the appropriate rating is applied to them to see if its better for me. that usually works pretty good for me. I'm jus sayin', thats me.

As said before http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48023, raw weapon damage increase is almost always better than stats, in this case the more ideal stats on aesir's edge.

Weapon dps can be used as in indicator as long as the stats and the speed dont suck, theres no need to bitch around because of that.

Truth. Since we were talking about a Str weapon and an Agi weapon of roughly equal value - I assumed that was a given.

Truth. Since we were talking about a Str weapon and an Agi weapon of roughly equal value - I assumed that was a given.

Not 100% True: My current Fordragon Blades are better than my previous Edge of Ruin- Just because we should be using +STR weapons and not +AP ones, it doesn't make it a bad choice.

even the ilvl245 is not that great and come behind 3/4 of the ilvl232 weapon of ulduar
